We recently moved from Traina to Jefferson and my kids love it. They say that the principal participates in lots, give his students rewards and pushes them with incentives if they do better on their STAR Test. The teachers are really responsible and nice. In 5th grade, the kids learn sign language, drawing, and computers. Even though the school is old, my kids still like it better than Traina. My daughter has improved her mile time by 3 min. ever since we came over here. parents are allowed to help students.

We recently moved from out of state and was concerned with what type of school our child would be attending. The office staff and teachers are wonderful to work with, for the most part. The principal is wonderful! He is a great sport, making sure to show his school spirit by also dressing up on dress up days. He is fair with the students and is a great support to parents, children and staff. The teachers, overall, truly do care about the students' success. This school came highly recommended to me, which I am very grateful for. Our student enjoys the sports' programs that are offered. They have high standards for the students to live up to, which is great!

I went to this school over 10 years ago and it was great then. My cousins are currently attending and it has only gotten better. I am currently a teacher in San Jose and this school sets the bar very high!

the school staff are great and they take the time to explain how your child is doing. the school staff is very fast at being responsive to emails and phone calls. This is one of the best school that my son has been yet.

This school has a great principal. He does not sit at his desk and do nothing. Before and after school he is always directing traffic in the school parking lot. Every recess he is picking up trash. He is not mean but wants only what is best for the kids. They also have great teachers, (especially the music/ drama teacher).

I really wish this school would go back to K-8 like it was years ago. It has the middle school mentality and I would like to see my son who is in 5th grade not have to deal with the non respecting teens in the upper class. The extra activities available to the students is the only tradition that the school has kept. I am pleased that they are trying to hold on to the music program. The school isn't as 'friendly' as in years past and it is too bad that the rural setting and high standards have changed. Its a safe school and I know the education is great. I hope they see how things have changed before it is too late to keep the old school values.

I really liked this school. Parents were usually involved with academic activities and field trips. The teachers are great and they all really care about the success of their students. Music classes are available and the school also has its own band. I participated in art or dance almost every year because they had artists that would go from one class to the next during the fall. Only some sports like volleyball, basketball, and flag football were available when I attended this school, but all in all I had a great learning experience.
