Mekhitarist Fathers School

My preschool days is what I am reminiscent on today. Mekhitarist Fathers Armenian Private School in Hollywood, CA is where I attended as a young student. Looking back at my childhood days I would not change one thing about this school, it is who I am today. I praise the Lord for my Parents who enrolled not only me but my siblings as well who attended this School in Lebanon. God bless the faculty, staff, parents and students.

if the school will have a principal like this it won't survive for long. During meetings he talke about loan programs,then he sees all students are leaving,he changes and meets each parent alone promising of discounts.He never makes up his mind but keeps turning like a clock...

My son recently graduated from this school. He had been attending Mekhitarian since Kindergarten and I could not ask for a better school and better teachers!

Both of my children attended this school since they were 3 years old. I feel lucky that God lead me to this school, because we had many choices around us. The teachers and the principal have embedded faith, ethics, happiness and education in my children lives forever. What they have received from this school is very different from any other. It is not simply great education, it goes much beyond that it has made them good people, taught them the right from wrong and lead them towards God. These are very important lessons that are not taught in all schools.

The Mekhitarist Fathers' Armenian School's teaching system has been in use for over 300 years in countries all over the world. It combines education with moral teachings which help students develop into well rounded individuals who are better equip to interact in the real world with real circumstances. The small teacher to student ratio truly makes it a 'private' school education. The dedicated teachers go over and beyond the regular curriculum. The parents are very involved in many aspects and together with the administration and faculty the school feels more like a family than an institution. As a parent whose children have been attending Mekhitarian for over a decade I would highly recommend the school.

As a current parent, I am very satisfied with the discipline the children receive. The teachers are concerned with each students behavior and learning ability. They have an open relationship with parents which makes a parent more comfortable to discuss difficult issues regarding the child.
