Turlock high is an alright school most teachers try there best to help out there students, but there are some who just don't care. Most teachers try there best to get students on the right track. I wasn't doing to well when i first started there leaning wise, but a few of my teachers kept encouraging and were really on me about my work which straightened me out. Some staff that work there are quite rude there are only a few kind staff member's.

This school is dangerous. I am worried about my child's safety. People are being shot, and people are being hurt at Turlock High. The teachers are very rude and they don't care about the students education. I would NOT send my child here again.

My son Devin attends THS and my oldest son Adrian graduated in 2008. Turlock High School has a history with our family; my mother and all her siblings attended school there. When we moved from the Bay Area to the Valley I never dreamed my kids would be in the same school that I had grown up hearing about. My Uncles played football and were quite famous there... So much history! Turlock High was the only high school in our area and kids from surrounding towns were brought there.. I went with my mother to her Turlock HIgh reunion and have to say I could not believe the awesome turnout! Go Bulldogs! :)

I have two students at THS and I am so impressed with the administration and staff. My two sons feel they are a part of a larger community of people who really care about their education and participation. I believe these teachers are the best in Turlock, and possibly in the state. The administration is very helpful and professional and appear to act on behalf of students' needs.

Two of my four children graduated from here in 2006 and 2007. I can not say enough good things about this school, my girls loved it their counselors were the best and really helped to stay on the right track. By far both of them would say that Mr. Tribble is the best teacher they ever had! As a parent I have to say this school stands out from all the rest.

I graduated from this school in 1979 and my son whom has Asperger Syndrome graduated in 2004. The staff and his special education teacher and aides were absolutely wonderful in helping my son succeed.

About the tests


In 2012-2013 California used the California Standards Tests (CSTs) to test students in English language arts in grades 2 through 11; math in grades 2 through 7; science in grades 5, 8 and 10; and history-social science in grades 8 and 11. Middle and high school students also took subject-specific CSTs in math and science, depending on the course in which they were enrolled. The CSTs are standards-based tests, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of California. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the tests.

The different student groups are identified by the California Department of Education; if there are fewer than 10 students in a particular group in a school, the state doesn't report data for that group.
