Las Lomas is a wonderful school. The campus is very well kept up for being around for so many years, and the teachers seem to genuinely care. I feel that my children are getting a very good education, and have the opportunity to participate in many different sports, and clubs.

Do NOT send your child to Las Lomas if he or she has any learning difficulties. The teachers, for the most part, are unwilling to help. The administration doesn't want to be bothered. Many parents have removed their kids from Las Lomas because their assistance to disabled kids is non-existent. If your kids attended WCI and were successful, they CANNOT receive that level of assistance, or any at all, at Las Lomas.

My children have had an excellent experience at Las Lomas, both educationally and socially. Teachers and staff believe in open communication--our emails and phone calls are always answered in a timely manner. Students and parents are respected. Everyone is friendly and inclusive. The PTSA here is wonderful--they work very hard for all of our children and do a great job of getting students, parents and teachers involved. Las Lomas was also given the US Dept of Education's Blue Ribbon Award this year. I believe these are hard to come by. My children are getting a great education.

Wonderful school, my son loved this school so much and liked the teachers, all the teachers are amazing, the counsellors are perfect and everything is perfect in this great school. I highly recommend it to everyone, you will love it. Thank God that my son was there, now he is at the University of California.

My son took the Japanese course and it was great, by far it was his favorite class and he learned a lot. The class had several Japaneses students and at parents night several parents where very complimentary of the teacher.

Amazing school--there is something here for everyone. The academics are strong, the activities well-planned and diverse. With financial support from the community, the facilities are excellent. A well-rounded school with teachers who genuinely care about their students and are knowledgeable of their subject-matter (most have MA's or higher).

Well above average with respect to extracurricular activities available. Dynamic principal. Most teachers know their stuff and work well with kids, but there is some dead weight here and there. Principal and PSTA communicate regularly with community via email.

My daughter attended this school and found it to be a great experience. She participated in Sports and was a Cheerleader. I highly recommend this school to parents relocating to the East Bay.

The academics are outstanding. Parent and community support keep much needed programs from be cut from the budget. All extracurricular activities are great--although no marching band.

I've heard complaints about the Japanese courses; in general, it's a good school.
