Weed high school is a Beautiful school with many oppertunities for the kids. There are many sports and the lunches are delicious.the kids that go to weed high are all very diverse. they have typical groups and even more. And because its in a small close nit community there is no way your going to walk around with no freinds. The schools carriculum is very high from my expereinces. i went there for half of freshmen year and came to Oregon. when i got here people were just now learning what i had already learned, and they were sophmores. so i would rate Weed High as a top notch school. and dont blame the school if your kid makes bad choices while attending. because its nobody elses fault besides yours and your kids. the generations that go to Weed high are brilliant. mine is any way. I graduated Weed High in 2005. Weed High school is a small school but still is a good school. I was exposed to many college opportunities, experiences and much more here. I am very grateful to have the small school experience. There is more one on one with the teachers in small schools and I am very thankful. I think it is great that Weed has opened its doors to more sports, such as soccer. Weed has very much potential to grow and be even more successful.

As a small school it may lack some availability of extracurricular activities beyond core sports, however, it is an incredible school. I attended there about eight years ago, and had siblings in attendance as recently as last year. The diversity of the student body, often criticized by surrounding communities, is an incredible asset for life beyond high school. In addition, the college counseling services are top-notch; helping Weed High students achieve a far greater proportion of sizeable college scholarships than other schools in Siskiyou County.

I am a Weed High School Student. I am in the class of 2006 and I am the ASB secretary. Weed High, in my opinion, Weed High is a very good school. Our teaching is at a very high level (some of my teachers taught my dad!) We have many sports (football, vollyball, soccer, swim, Cheerleading, Snowboarding/ skiing race, Basketball, Track & field, Softball, and baseball) We also have a good music program ran by Mrs. Sue Villareal (we have two rock bands and a choir). The only dissapionting thing is we only have two clubs Crosswalk and Key Club (maybe three, in the past we have had a spanish club).

Weed High School is excellent. The diversity in students is amazing. My daughter and son both went there, and the small school setting helped them to learn and make the most of themselves. This school gets a bad wrap from surronding areas, but really it is the best school in the surrouding areas. The teachers really care.
