Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

My daughter attended last year and her first grade teacher was HORRIBLE!!! No structure, unclear curriculum, no discipline! The whole school environment was TERRIBLE!!! The principal was mean and take no action on bullying!!! The front office manager Pam is the most UNFRIENDLY staff I ever seen!!! Bad experience and switching my kid out of this school this year!!!

the school is ok but unfortunately the principal is terrible the last time this school was rated was over 3 years ago and had a change in principals. she thinks that bullying is just what kids do and does not try to put an end to the suffering childs misery. the only good thing about this school is a handful of teachers, only a few because I have seen some things that I did not approve of. even the custodians are arrogant and very rude and disrespectful. my daughter was fortunate enough to have had an excellent kinder teacher Ms. Gibson. I really hope we get a better principal for the following year, a principal who isn't just in it for the money and high scores, that is not what a wholesome education is all about. these kids need a good influence, guidance, involvement, kindness, structure and a principal & teacher who is truly passionate about teaching children.

This school is much better than its rating implies. The principle is very involved; he walks the campus every morning as the students are arriving and always has a cheery greeting for them. He has consistently been available to talk to me regarding my concerns for my son's education. The teachers with whom I've come into contact really care about the children's educations, and the support staff seem knowledgeable about their jobs and involved with the kids as well. I love the extra activities that are offered, like family reading night and spaghetti dinners. I'm proud that my son attends a school that is getting better every year. Go Cougars!

I believe this school is an excellent place for achedemic study, the principal has a willingness for the success of each student, and she works overtime to get the staff on board with her vision to make the school number #1.

Great school! The whole office staff is wonderful. Mrs. Contreras was my sons kinder teacher could not have asked for anyone better. I will never forget how she made my sons first day of wearing his new glasses to school just a liitle bit easier by taking off her contacts and wearing her glasses for the whole week. Kids attending this school are very lucky and parents too.

Cameron is an undiscovered Gem of a school! Ms. Debrenon is an active, involved caring Principal. She is out front greeting students every morning, walking the campus, and always available for parental interations. She is warm and friendly while still taking charge. The campus has been recently modernized from the restrooms to the classrooms to the playground and office. The campus has a wonderful tech center and library. The campus is located in close proximity to the highschool and cameron park and community center. Classes are often 'rewarded' with field trips to the park. Parents are very involved and often on campus. The school celebrates and embraces cultural diversity from the cafeteria menu to classroom activities. The teachers and staff at Cameron are also caring, dedicated, and well respected by students and parents alike.
