My son attended private school. I was very afraid to make the change to a public school but I am glad I chose Oceanview Elementary. I am happy with the results. Thank You

my child attened OV elementary becuase we heard great things about the school but we found it to be the complete opposite. My child is now attending a new elementary school and we could not be happier. On several ocassions I inquired about after school tutoring or any other programs that were offered by OV and i come to find out there was none. There was no after school programs for the students academic or athletic. The Admin needs to take courses/training for people skills espcially the principal and they also need to take courses on how to accept children from different ethnic backgrounds. I would not recomend OV. BEWARE of the admin!!!

I used to be a Student there, Now I'm in high school and in a differen't city but, The time I had here was great. If you're new to the area I reccomend this school. The staff is really polite and nice to everyone, and they're easy to talk to if you're kid is a shy guy, like I was.

Great School, Third Grade co-teacher is of great concern! The team needs to be in boot camp not teaching third graders, we are not the only family that has a horror story with the team teachers, Beware!!

My daughter has attended Oceanview since Kinder. We have been very happy, especially with Mrs. Couso and Mrs. Kinard-Blair. She will now go into 3rd grade, and I hope our success continues!

Ocean View has recently changed administration. As we celebrated our beloved principal's promotion to asst. superintendent we were apprehensive about the new change. There was no need to worry. Ms. Tryon is great. The teachers seem to rally behind her making a great Parent - teacher - administrative team.

We had our daughter in a private school prior to her attending OV. Her education at OV exceeds her private school education! We couldnt be happier! Thank You Ocean View!!

My daughter just finished kinder and had Miss Boyd and Mrs Couso. I was very pleased with the school and transition of teachers. My daughter has learned to read and write complete sentences. I loved the kinder teachers and would tell parents to send their child to Ocean View.
