This school is ideal for parents looking for a small classroom environment combined with personalized instruction for their child. The field trips are unique, educational, and fun. My daughter looks forward to going each day, which is a wonderful thing for a parent to witness! I am thrilled to have the opportunity to send my child to this school.

My son is currently in the Kindergarten program at Community Christian and it has been by far the best decision we have made for his educational journey thus far! He had 2 good but behaviorally challenging years of preschool. At age 4 he was diagnosed with sensory processing disorder, and for us the large classes at public school would mean he would face even greater challenges with his sensory issues. CCA is a calm and quiet environment which allows for learning at all levels to THRIVE. There is plenty of teacher time for each student and best of all, my child loves going to school each and every day. He has friends of all different ages and is able to develop both behaviorally and intellectually at his pace, being challenged in a healthy and positive environment. I highly recommend CCA for any child, but most especially for those who find the public school class size and/or structure to be a roadblock in their education journey.

My son is a 4th grader at this school. It is not only a relief but such a wonderful feeling knowing that your child truly loves school. My son attended public school until this last year and most mornings struggled just to get him out of bed. This is not a problem anymore! I can go to work knowing I won't get a call about a mysterious illness to avoid being at school, or issues with bullying or simply worrying about my son not getting the attention he and all children deserve in school. It is a personal sacrifice paying tuition when public schools are free, but knowing your child is learning values and a sense of self in this currently small class setting is priceless. I feel very fortunate to have driven by St John's Church and noticing the schools banner. Teacher Val is one of the most beautiful human beings my son and I have ever known. We are feeling very lucky that the school is currently so small that my son gets the instruction he needs to excel in life and not struggle in every subject. Teacher Val has the experience and patience to truly provide quality education at an affordable price. We love Community Christian Academy and so will you. Woodland's best kept secret.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.

What makes a great teacher? Study after study shows the single most important factor determining the quality of the education a child receives is the quality of his teacher. Here are some characteristics to look for »
