• In 2008-2009 Oklahoma used the Oklahoma Core Curriculum Tests (OCCT) to test students in grades 3 through 8 in reading and math. Students in grade 5 were also tested in writing, science and social studies. Students in grade 7 were tested in geography, and students in grade 8 were tested in writing, science and U.S. history.
