Absolutely LOVE this school! The office staff is great and they really take the time to get to know the students and parents. I work so I'm not at the school much so probably after visiting the office maybe twice they remembered who I was and my child! That shows a lot. My son is only in 1st grade but so far have loved both his teachers. He has learned so much and I am anxious to see what progress he makes being there all day. I just wished they would get full day kindergarten before my daughter starts kindergarten.
My son attends Kohl. He attended last year for first grade and just started second grade there. I can't believe how quickly he has been learning! He loves school because the teachers make learning interesting and fun. We moved out of the district, but I will continue to open enroll my son through fifth grade to keep him at Kohl. His enthusiasm for learning is amazing! I attribute this to the school!
LOVE this school. It is wonderful BECAUSE of the principal, teachers and staff. Don't know why the bad reviews of the principal. She is always available to talk on the phone or have a meeting about my son. She has worked to make school life for him a success. Hello people - the teachers are so great because the principal hires great teachers. She runs the school like a tight ship and some may not like it but it is a ship that will not sink and your child will get the BEST education here!
My children went to Kohl Elementary and loved it. They were highly encouraged and the education they received gave them a solid foundation.
I've had my kids at Kohl for 4 years and love it! The school is very well ran and the principal Cindy Kaier is absolutely amazing! She is very approachable and knows how to handle parents that think they should be the principal. The teachers are also amazing and I would reccomend this school to any looking in the Broomfield area.
One of the nicest faculty I have ever met. My son started at one school in this district and we moved into this school's district and he as grown academically every year due to the strong faculty present at Kohl Elementary. The Media staff is wonderful as well-always working hard to make sure the kids have the right reading materials to check out and works with the parents very well who come in to volunteer wiith them.
My children went to Kohl in the 1990's and we loved it. My grandchildren have been there for the past six years and I must say I do not like the principal, Cindy Kaier, who takes it upon herself to decide what the children can do and/or can not do. I'm not sure how she gets by with it. She won't listen to what the parents want. The teachers are all wonderful though.
I have loved Kohl with the exception of the principal. Rather than trying to work with parents and explain why certain choices have been made, she is demeaning, defensive, condescending, and lacks communication skills. Generally, once a problem is worked out it appears the whole thing could have been avoided if the principal had just taken the time to properly communicate the issue with the parents and community.
Kohl Elementary School is an excellent school where kids can be kids while at the same time there is a strong focus on academics. This combination has lead to high scores for Kohl in most test categories. Highly recommended!
Kohl Elementary School is an excellent school. The principal is very approachable. Often, class sizes are a little more than I'd like, but overall, I feel my children get an education above par at Kohl.
