Karen Olson has proven to be an inspirational and engaged leader at CRES. Our child has had an outstanding experience at this school and the involvement of the parents is exceptional. Fantastic teachers, too! This school has dealt with a surge in non-english speaking students over the past several years with grace.

Children have PE, visual arts and music. They have Spanish class every day. Dual-language is an option. Small class size (less than 18). Teachers are energetic. Principals are responsive.

An amazing place to work with kids. Also, a place I feel proud to send my child to school because he is learning a lot about life.

They are a smaller school struggling to get playground equipment for their students. They have great teachers, but funds are short.

CRES profoundly supports the diversity of its students. Here all students are regarded for their own unique and inherent qualities. I consider it the real alternative education, in that our children develop and grow honoring each other for their cultural differences rather than their homogeneity. Not only are our children taught to think critically and creatively, they are also modeled a means to view their environments with tolerance and integrity.

I love this school because my child gets the opportunity to learn two languages and build bi-cultural relationships. I also love the level of parent involvement that is apparent during school and in our school cafeteria everyday. I like that our school lunches are healthy and available to all children every day.
