CME is an amazing school and expierience to endure. Although other schools in the district have fair quality, CME is by far the best.

Excellent school! Standardized test results from CME put this elementary school in the top 5 in the state. The Principal is Mr. Paugh... 2009/10 was his first year here. We have been extremely satisfied with his performance. He handles tough situations very well and, as a result, the school has very few behavior issues. The school is in a great neighborhood and, subsequently has great parent involvement. Funding is never an issue, however, this school does not receive it's fair share of tax dollars (the price you pay for paying more in property taxes). Classes are slightly bigger than other schools at around 30 kids per classroom, however, there are only 2 classes per grade -- which guarantees you will meet everyone who attends the school. Political issues tend to stay out of the school which is nice. After three years of our kids attending CME, we are very pleased!

Why do you think it would be good to have your child go to an Excellent rated school? What would it let your child achive that they can't right now? Whould anyone else in the family be pleased if your child went to CME? Do you think it would have any educational advantages compared with other schools in the area? Cheyenne Mountain Elementary School provides our 3rd grader, and our family with a partnered relationship that emphasizes character development. Principal Pierre and her Teacher Faculty expose the students to enhanced curriculum, inovative goal setting programs, and enthusiasm generating learning skills. The subtle foundation for learning is in place so that the students can take the lessons to a higher mastered understanding. This is a great school.
