The staff at Broadway Elementary spend a lot of time centered around student learning. They are innovative in how they present lessons and were way ahead of the game when it came to teaching the new math curriculum. CSAP scores showed a large increase in the number of advanced students in math. I would think any parent would be proud to send their child to Broadway!

Broadway Elementary is a school dedicated to meeting students' needs in an environment that is safe, friendly, and positive. The principal and teachers work hard to create and implement improvement plans when necessary, and they care about the growth, interests, and needs of every individual student. Broadway is small which gives the school a sense of community and familiarity--a huge benefit to children. We love being a part of the Broadway community, and after one very long year at Caprock Academy, I am thrilled to see my children treated like human beings with unique personalities and learning styles.

We moved to Grand Junction in 2007 and were happy with our children going to Broadway. However, our opinion quickly changed and we have since taken our children out of Broadway. Our children now attend Caprock Academy and love it! My son was in the Gifted and Talented Program at Broadway, this program is a joke. His last year in the program they didn't teach any advanced math until April, we couldn't believe it. The advanced math was a joke too. Our kids were also bullied at Broadway and the principal did nothing to stop the problem. Just look at the downward sliding CSAP test scores, they have continually went down since 2007. If your kids are in this school or if your considering having your kids attend this school then I suggest you do a bit of research before enrolling your children.

Broadway allows bullies and need new leadership as in a real principal.

Broadway has a large bully problem which needs to be addressed. There is also a problem with special attention given to some students and not others.

Broadway has been a wonderful asset to both our children to attend there. We have one gifted and Talented child. Broadway was clearly the only option for him. They have provided a challenging and stimulating environment for him.
