This school is the best school ever! My husband has coached football and basketball here for the last 4 years and our son attends the school, and other son is on the way into Lutheran this August. We are SO pleased with the staff, the wonderful principle of the school, the athletics, and most importantly the love for Christ that indwells at this school. We are so blessed to be here! If you are looking for schools for your child(ren) to attend, I highly recommend you don't pass up this amazing school!

I can't say enough great things about this school. My son transferred here this year from Ponderosavand is thriving. The administration, staff and teachers take student success personally. The school environment is positive, nurturing, appropriately rigorous and emphasizes the whole student. A Christ-centered environment helps students learn right from wrong, accountability and appropriate conflict resolution. It is a school community where students care for one another and everyone is accepted and included. If you are looking for a change from public, secular education, I would recommend this school regardless of whether you are Lutheran or not ( we are not).

It is a Christian school. Kids come there because they want to be there...in that environment. Some kids have jobs just so they can attend at Lutheran. It is a highly accredited school. Kids attending there from previous schools get better grades. It is a wonderful place for young adults to be...with Christian peers.

The academic programs at the school is wonderful and provides a wonderful variety of class choices. They have everything from your basic classes to the A.P. classes. They have bands, pep bands, many art classes, boys and girls soccer, boys and girls basketball, baseball, volleyball, football starting next year, drama, and handbells. They all have excellent teachers and extra help to help the students with any questions. The school asks for any parent help they can get. The school rules are run by the parents and are parent related. The parents help out with sports activites to helping an individual teacher during the day. The school is on a block schedual and on the block 5 through 8 days, during 8th block the students have a study hall. During the study hall the students are allowed to go to other teachers to ask questions about homework.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

What is the GreatSchools Rating?

The GreatSchools rating is a simple tool for parents to compare schools based on test scores, student academic growth, and college readiness. It compares schools across the state, where the highest rated schools in the state are designated as “Above Average” and the lowest “Below Average.” It is designed to be a starting point to help parents make baseline comparisons. We always advise parents to visit the school and consider other information on school performance and programs, as well as consider their child's and family's needs as part of the school selection process.
