this school sucks BIG TIME! Chaos in the classrooms makes for a very poor learning environment. They have been through three principals in the course of one school year always saying they promise things will get better and they never do!

In all honesty, this school is not the "wonderful" place people make it seem. Clayton Partnership, in my opinion, is one of the worst schools any adult could send their child too. The pace at which children and middle school students learn is so slow, and the teachers do not address every child's individual learning style. Say there is a student who is above grade level. That student will be held back to re-learn what they may have already been taught, reducing their intellectual growth. Not only this but bullying and other student-student issues are not well addressed at all. My younger sister, whom is in second grade, gets negative attention from other students, not just in her grade but from upperclassmen as well. I ask her why she doesn't just tell her teacher and she told me it's because the teachers either won't listen to her or won't help her. In regards to overall academic growth, both of my younger sisters who go there, (one being in 8th grade and the other in 2nd) say the pace is too low or that they are not learning anything. In my opinion the school should just be shut down for good.

over all this school has weak leadership and poor teaching ability. the experience for my children and myself was GREATLY DISSAPOINTING they struggled with school work all year with little to no help from teaching staff.

Fantastic idea...hard to make it happen. This school has experienced several growing pains and is not yet what it claims to be. Big behavior problems school wide and not a lot of strong classroom management skills to cope with it. Many families have moved on to better functioning programs within the district and in a few more years this one might pan out. If you have patience and the drive to roll up your sleeves and join the ranks this school may be a good fit. Better for the younger than the older kids right now.
