very important if a principle doesnt care then its more than likely to have a ripple effect one everyone around him/her. and they wont be willing to go the extra mile for anyone.

Extremely important! Leadership starts at the top. If the principal is not on-board with improvement at a school (or the general success), then the school will fail. Starts at the TOP!
