I graduated from Strong last year. I'd say I had a pretty good experience there. My teachers were all great and very helpful, a couple in particular. The principal is somewhat disconnected from the students though.

Not a challanging school. Does not offer programs for gifted or bright learners. Princpal is ineffective.

For the most part, I have been happy with the quality of education that my children have received at Strong. Although I occasionally take issue with the curriculum, I have found that the teachers are all extremely professional and go out of their way to do what is in each student's best interests.

My child currently attends this school. In my opinion it is the worst school in the district- just suffer through the two years and get out. There is no enthusiasm from the teachers and they are not a cohesive group of educators. The principal focuses on the wrong items and should be looking to improve the school not further some pet peeve of his own. This school could use an excellenet principal like the one at Memorial. It would make a world of diffence in these very important junior high years.

My son curently attends Strong school. We have been very pleased with the quality of the teaching staff to date and their level of enthusiasm. The school is well run and provides a safe environment. However, the school sports teams are very poor. The coaches my son has had so far are not knowlegable about the sports they teach, demonstrate poor sportmanship, and can be verbally abusive.

I attend this school. I must say, I was a straight A student until I got there. Finally, my two years have reached an end. I must say- there were the 2 worst years of my life. They have a terrible faculty. Well no, I must say a few of the teachers are decent people who seem to enjoy their jobs. However, some of the teachers just seem to be absolutely miserable. And I know what your probably thinking- im a student.. 14 years old- of course I wont like my teachers- the students probably torture them- but thats not the case. I just find it amazing that this school is ranked so highly. So all im saying to you is... dont believe all the hype.
