My experience here is less than a year, but I've been very pleased with the level of support from the staff at TVES. Teachers encourage parent participation in class events; e.g., being a reader to the class or class guest for special events. My child benefits from a support group for children who've felt loss of a parent through death or divorce. This program helps children understand they are not alone in their feeling of loss or grief. Also, the academic program seems stronger than the school system from which we moved, as my child's grades and reading skills have improved. An enrichment program is offered to the children after school for a minimal cost which features a variety of interesting courses in the arts, languages, and sciences. There is an active PTA which offers many opportunities for parents to help the school. Parent participation is always welcomed!
