Roton Middle School has got the best teachers ever...
My youngest daughter was a student at Roton and is now a high school English Teacher, great job roton. Now my oldest daughter is a teacher there and they have a great staff!!!
Roton is a small school with a diverse and caring student body and staff. We are lucky to be part of the Roton Middle School Community.
Roton Middle School has great teachers and great students. I have babysat a number of children who go to school there and they all love their school and their teachers, especially their art teacher, Mrs. Bronner.
It has the best teachers...............and students!
This school stifles creativity and overpromotes conformity. Some quality instructors but too much expensive deadwood. Extra curricular activities are nearly non existent. The diversity of the student body presents numerous challenges both to the administrators and the students themselves. It is my opinion there needs to be an entire new personal structure and much needed curriculum enhancements need to be implemented. A few will be sucessfull but the majority of students in this town graduate well below their potentials some cant read past 5th grade level. Shame Shame.
Roton is a very nurturing school that seems capable of serving all types of kids, both racially/ethnically and academically. It is a school rich with diversity that has a wonderful sense of school spirit. I have had three children attend Roton School. Two were/are (one is a graduate) in Academically Talented and in Phase II Math (hardest); the third is a typical 'middle of the road' student. I was perhaps a little concerned about the third one being 'lost' in the big middle, but the opposite has happened. She has really been recognized for her leadership and public speaking skills and has shown tremendous growth. I sometimes feel there isn't enough homework, but my oldest child, currently a 10th grader at Brien McMahon H.S. is in all honors classes and has an unbelievably demanding schedule, and she was absolutely acamemically prepared by Roton. Roton gives kids a great sense of self!
