A great addition to the Stamford community. Many of the kids served by Trailblazers would not become useful members of society without the support they get from Trailblazers and the Domus Foundation.

Great school that works hard for students. Uniforms, structure and small classes give students a real shot.

Thought this school would benefit my kid, but was I surprised! There's gossip amongs the teachers on a daily basis, that kids see. No discipline for kids who disrespect the staff & school. Kids know they can get away it. Parent involvement is very weak & when you do get involved they wear you out. No respect for the families. Teachers favor few students and its very noticeable! The directors have some support but short list. Many of the teachers are afraid of the kids & parents so they don't say much when its time. I'm not putting down all the staff, but many are very unprofessional!!

My son attended this school for 3 years and this is his last year Thank God! The 1st year i have to say was great but after that it just went down hill. My son comes home with different storys about the teachers and when i meet with them there atitude is different. Some of the teachers are very unprofecinal and speak to the children like there adults in the street. Truefully I think this school needs a lot of improvment and help from the Board of Ed. The administration is terible. I cant exspress my thoughts enough on here i think i need to stop now. But re-think before sending your kids there!

My son is in his second year here and I can say that teachers and support teams are the most dedicated bunch of people I have seen. Ready to answer questions when asked and to make suggestions to help with my child's progress. They understand the word teamwork and realize that it's our job to keep the children on track. A genuine feeling of respect emanates from the school. You feel that people care here, even down to supporting the teams at games and competitions. Everyone puts the child's needs first, and realize that not every child is a rocket scientist but will still encourage them to be the best that they can be by working hard and working smart.

This is a wonderful example of how every school should operate and all students should be taught and treated. Leadership is committed, exceptionally qualified and involved and the teachers are of the highest caliber.Everyone is committed to giving the best to and getting the best from every student. After school program is free and has a proven reading program that has increased student scores on standardized tests.Everyone is fully committed to the students and really cares.Parent feedback is welcomed and encouraged.
