North Dover Elementary School

My daughter has complete kindergarten with Ms. M. Johnson. She is a wonderful involved teacher. She has complete control over her classroom by having a consist schedule that she follows daily. My daughter received all 3's (the highest grade markings in kindergarten) all throughout the year. I am proud of North Dover for having very involved teachers and staff my daughter knew all of the staff including her bus drivers by their first name and in return the staff knew her and her family (even her grandmother, the week she came to visit.)!!

This school is more concerned with its school rating and DSTP results than it is with a student's learning, building self esteem and social/moral development. Some teachers use negative feedback as a way of motivating students and out of date harsh methods of discipline. My grandchild will (thankfully) be attending a private school next year and in the future.

This school is very family oriented! Parents are always welcomed to voluteer and get involved with all aspects. Academically...the school is fantastic. Teachers are just wonderful. Both of my kids have had nothing but wonderful memories of North Dover!

I Absolutely love this school. I find the teachers very aware of what the children are doing and when they may need to review the work that the children are doing. My daughter has excelled in this school in many ways. The also have an excellent disipline program set up and all the children abide by the rules it just great !!

We recently moved out of this school district. While I am thankful that we are no longer there, I am very diappointed in the education that my children received while in this school. My children went into a new school and the things that they are learning were way above what was being taught at North Dover. I am happy that we are no longer at this school, so my children will get a good education.
