I school choiced my son to this school in kindergarden and he has loved the school. The office staff formed my first impression of the school. They were wonderful. The secretaries were friendly and helpful. The teachers were kind, creative and talented at getting the children to learn. The extra activities were fun and informative. My son joined the excel class in 3rd grade and stayed with it through 5th. He then made the Odyssey of the Mind team for the district and the team came in second in the world. Without the support of the school, staff and parents, this wouldn't have been possible. Thanks to the school for a great six years and an awesome start to my son's learning experiences. Now he heads to SDSA for another 3 great years.

I school choiced my daughter into this school in Kindergarten. She attended all the way through 5th grade. The academic programs are excellent. It was like getting a private school education for free.

The faculty truely care about the students. Even for an elementary school, parent involvement is high. There is a special program in which outside citizens come into the school and help out the students. Every year the class size continues to grow, and two additions have been added in the last three years. Though the class size is bigger, the classroom size has stayed about the same with new hirings and the DSTP, or state testing, scores have continued to rise. The school also continues to try new programs including a new 'academic' class in each grade, which allows the more advanced children to learn at a faster level, and new science and social studies lesson plans. While this is an elementry school, there is a 3-5th grade choir, and a grade5 band. Art, music and com.lit. are all 'specials' or daily classes.
