Marshall (Thurgood) Elementary School

I love, love this school. My daughter who is a freshman at UD came here along with my son a junior in high school and now I have a 1st grader. They are truly an outstanding school.

I love Marshall, We have looked at private school when they changed the feeder pattern and none even compared to Marshall, so i choiced my daughter in, now I have a Daughter in 4th, and one in 2nd...My 4th grader has never missed a day a marshall and my 2nd grader only 1day...They love everything about the school...They cry when school is out for the summer...Im a involved parents who would like to thank Every STAFF,TEACHER, AND PARENTS(PTA) who make this the best school!!! My sons love this school and are so happy to go each day. The staff are wonderful from the principal down to the cafeteria workers. Everyone takes the time to get to know each and every child. They let the children know that they are really interested in how they learn and are willing to give 120 % to every child. They listen to the parents and work as a team to help the child meet their goals.

I absolutely love this school it's faculty and principal. Everyone seems to have the best interest of our children at heart. My daughter has been going to this school since Kindergarten and she has had the most enthusiastic teacher's fostering her academic progress every year! I reccomend this school to everyone who asks!

I just love this school and the teachers who encourage children to do more. My son has been with the school for the past two years and I've fortunate to send my son here because the next best school is Newark Charter and it's highly competitive.

I love this school and so do both of my children. My son has been at Marshall since first grade and is now in 4th grade. He has had nothing but wonderful, loving teachers who seem to really care not only about his education, but about him as a person too. My daughter is in kindergarten this year and has the most amazing teacher who interacts with the kids constantly. I volunteer at Marshall a lot and have always felt welcomed. The environment is always positive and caring. We are moving this year and I can only hope to find another school as awesome as Marshall Elementary. From teachers to the crossing guard this school rocks!

Love! love, this school! I have 2 little girls in that go there. This school is absolutely one of the best i have ever seen. The teachers are wonderful. I have a a special education student and she has just sored in her academics. From the principal to the teachers to the custodial staff everyone is so loving and caring. What a great atmosphere for your children!
