We started West Park in 2004. Yes, we have seen 3 principals come and go, but the stability of the staff and quality of the education has been solid. This is a community school with dedicated teachers and wonderful parents. It would be nice to have greater funds for after school programing, but the Federal/State funding sources aren't un limited. My children have continued to have a positive educational experience and love to learn.
I've been satisfied so far, but last year lots of good teachers left the school. I'm hoping the new staff will work as effectively towards developing bright students. More challenging projects should be introduced to all students and they need to improve on the extra-curricular activities.
My child has enjoyed his time at West park School. My biggest concern is that there are no extra-curricular activities other than choir. What about an instrumental music program and school sports program?
