Hands down best school. My son was a transfer student and he not only made friends instantly but they improved his math and reading skills immediately.

My daughter has been going to Smyrna Elementary since 1st grade and has enjoyed her time here. As a parent of a current student I have volunteered in the classroom and have first hand knowledge of all that the teachers do for the students. I really appreciate how hard the teachers work for my child as well as other students. I highly recommend Smyrna Elementary!

I am very happy with Smyrna Elementary. My daughter loves her teachers and is learning above her grade level.

About the tests

In 2008-2009 Delaware used the Delaware Student Testing Program (DSTP) to test students in reading and math in grades 2 through 10, in writing in grades 3 through 10, and in science and social studies in grades 4, 6, 8 and 11. The scores for social studies in grades 4 and 6 are not shown on GreatSchools profiles.
