Great school. Super, caring teachers. Great administration, active parents. Super coaches for sports teams.....they have a dress code. Can't say enough good things!

I attended Skyline for 8th grade back in 2001. It was my first year in public school, previously attendied private schools in NYC so needless to say I was a little overwhelmed with the relaxed environment of public school. Overall my experience was decent. I had a few great teachers that I really connected with, as well as a guidance counselor that I believe was heaven sent. Anytime I had a problem with the other children, I went to her and she sprung into action immediately. Had a couple issues where one boy touched me inappropriately and another girl tried to fight me and I feel that the administration handled the problems quickly and efficiently. I would recommend this school due to the great experiences I had with the administration.

I love the teachers here but I cannot stand the Administration. They are rude and they seem to dislike the children. The music department is the best, though and the other kids could be worse but they aren't the best.

My two older children went here and I was thrilled with the administration and teachers. Everyone was wonderful to work with, addressing any problems/concerns and offering encouragement at all times. We had a fantastic experience here and would highly recommend Skyline to everyone.

I am a parent of a 8th grade student of Skyline. The teachers are very enthusiastic and helpful. The learning environment is very good. The students are nice. The after school programs are excellent with lots of involvement of parents and teachers.

I wish we had found this school before we threw so much money away on private school. It's huge, the class size is large, and the teachers are very busy and spread thin. But they respond to you. They don't accept excuses and they don't make them either. Education is a profession here, not a second career that someone kind of fell into. If your child needs to be challenged academically, they work with it. If they need special help, they will get it. The afterschool tutoring program was great and free! There are lots of activities and they are not all sports. It is surprising, but at this big impersonal school we got much more personal attention than at a small private school.
