I really enjoy attending St. Mark's. This school offers so much to students : sports, drama, music, art, clubs, academics, service, and etc. The teachers are well-qualified. The academic phasing system is great beacuse it challenges each student to his or her own ability. Not to mention, the campus is beautiful and kept in good condition. The atmosphere her is very welcoming and the friends you make here are life-long. For prospective students and thier parents, if you are willing to work hard, express, yourself, and have a amazing high school experience St. Mark's is for you!

Attending St. Mark's High School has been a wonderful experience. There are an astounding amount of extracurricular activities; sports, drama, clubs, etc. There is something for everyone at St. Mark's. I have received an unparalleled education and I feel confident that I will be more than prepared for college next year. I cannot even begin to describe how grateful I am to my parents for sending me here. I've made lasting friendships and have had wonderful teachers. Send your child here; you won't regret it.

I am the mother of a freshman who is finishing up his first year. He has had a wonderful experience so for both academically and socially. The staff at Saint Mark's are very helpful and quck to respond. I know we made the right choice for our son.

This school was horrible. It is overpriced and don't care much for academics. CSW is a much better choice if you are trying to get into a better high school. The students are not very friendly and I don't think that they treat all students the same. Don't go here

I feel that St. Mark's prepares our future youth for the challenges they will face as young adults. I especially appreciate the development of the EMMAUS program. The curriculm is excellent have not had problems.

As parents of two other children who attended public high school, we were in a unique position. Our experience at St. Mark's was exceptional. Although our son entered the school knowing only one other student (we were from out of state), he quickly made friends and thrived. While no school is perfect, St. Mark's came as close to perfection as you can get. They met the goals we had in mind for our son... by helping him grow and develop as a person and preparing him for further education and eventually a career. In our opinion, it's all about the environment, and St. Mark's offers what we were looking for... a learning environment.

I am an alumni of St. Mark's & would tell any parent thinking about sending their children to this school to think twice. It is over priced & just like the last comment I read it is well known for substance abuse & the students that attend their are no better then students in public school if not worse. I was exposed to drugs my first week as a freshman there. But at least I can say they do have a good sports program & some of the courses did prepare me for college. Just don't expect your children to be safe from drugs, drinking & sex all because it is a Catholic school.

I graduated from St Marks. The school has very nice facilities and opportunities for students. I did very well at the school and I found it very rewarding. However I was naturally good at academics. I advise against any student with a learning disability to attend. My brother had a very difficult time getting through here and now attends a public high school. The school provides many opportunites for bright, interested students to succeed. It is a rich environment, a car showcase in the parking lot, plethera of ways to get involved. Spartans are proud. It is a nice community and family. English, Math, and Science departments are all excellent, Music, Art and Language are alright, SPORT FANATIC school. Come here if you excel at academics. If not, save your money.

Our experience is positive (my son is a sophomore). Teachers are knowledgable, reasonable in parental interactions, and helpful. Testing out of Algebra I, Algebra II is challenging, his teacher helps him after school. Parents are notified of low performance/test scores. Grades can be accesssed online. My son (shy) finds the atmosphere friendly, safe and conducive to learning. Coming from a small elementary school, there was a few months of adjustment. Activities/electives are abundant; with programs for non-competitive students. Mine took Intro to Guitar and blossomed finding a creative niche. Students are expected to be responsible (not coddled) for their class/homework as prep for college, don't expect hand-holding. The pace of the phasing program is excellent. Teens test the envelope; behavior will be commensurate with limit setting, discipline and values provided by the parent(s). The school reinforces this and sets an expectation of high academic standards, it's worth the tuition.

I attended St. Marks and all that I can say is do not go here if you have any learning disablilty whatsoever. They would much rather not have to deal with any problems associated with any learning disabilities. This coming from someone in all Phase 3's, 5 being the highest just under AP. I would surely feel for anyone in 1's or 2's. This school and their 'higher Faculty' (Principals, Deans, Counselors, etc) are very hands-off. I resent attending St Marks very much. If you have an SAT score over 1500 you will probably fit in here just fine. I would have had a much better education in an area public school, and my parents would have saved over $20,000 for the 4 years. They also resent the investment as much as I do for attending.
