I have had nothing but excellent experiences with this school. The staff are so helpful and I consider myself and my family lucky that the children get to go to such a beautiful school. I am proud to say that my child goes to Forest City Elementary and we are looking forward to another great year. Amanda Young-Martin

The principal, Mr. Haynie, is very involved, as are the entire staff and teachers. I've been very impressed with the school's operations and expectations. Both of my school age children had wonderful teachers last year, Mrs. Fragoza (2nd gr) and Mrs. Powell (Kg). A terrific school.

Recently moved to the area and I was happy with the range of activities available, as well as the quality of the educational programming. I believe my son will do well at this school. I was surprissed by the math scores in 3rd grade, but the other scores all showed much higher than the state average.

My children were students for several years and at first I was happy with the school. This school cares for scores not children

The administration is not very supportive to the staff. The ED teacher is exceptional. We have been fortunate to have had two terrific women make a difference in our childs life. The last years co-teacher still sends letters and cards to my child as well as remembers important events. She has always gone above and cares for the kids as if they are her own. We miss her terribly and I think that it will effect my child not to have her there. This year has been slower response but a lot less hassle from the front office staff. Glad to see that the office staff has new happier faces. It would be nice to see the new principle instead of him always being in the office.

Great teacher involvement with academics. PTA very weak, but school is trying to get more parents to become members. Good class size, high standards.
