My son has attended Coral Sunset for the past two years. I have seen so much growth in him both academically and socially. He had amazing teachers for both Kindergarten and First Grade. The faculty, staff, and administration have been nothing but wonderful towards him. I am looking forward to my daughter attending next year for Kindergarten.

Amount of homework: Just right

My child has received adequate homework based on his grade level. He has to read every night for at least 15 minutes, which I think is great.

The students and staff in this school provide an incredible experience for everyone who attends. I have seen students come to school crying, angry, upset where staff rush to their sides to assist in their transition into school that day. The teachers and administrators have a true dedication to our children. the teachers my children have had have been amazing giving my children a wonderful education from start to finish. There has not been a single time that I have needed something that someone was not there to help me. If not immediately available at the school, the principal calls you back personally as soon as possible and always that day. If there is an issue she deals with it appropriately and quickly. Thank you to the faculty and staff at Coral Sunset. I could not have given my children a better first exposure to education. I'm looking forward to my 5 more years here.

The teachers and staff at our school are truly talented at reaching those students that other schools and districts have been unable to. The staff is creative and on top of all the newest technology and strategies available to assist students with their academic needs.

What a surprisingly great experience. I had my son in K at a different school and we had a really bad first year with an overly strict teacher. It really set the tone in a negative way, and I was anxious to right the ship. When we moved into the Coral Sunset district I was concerned with some of the things I found online, so I called the office. The PRINCIPAL called me back on my cell phone and we had a great discussion. The one question (about their VPK openings--great classroom btw), she found the answer and called me again to confirm. I was amazed. Since then, my son has had an amazing first grade experience with Ms. Rubino. What an amazing teacher and fellow mom. She has been perfect for my whole family and she has not just taught our son, but us as parents as well. Thank you team Coral Sunset!

Coral sunset elementary school is a wonderful school! My children love going to school everyday and look forward to seeing their teachers. The teachers, administrators, and staff are friendly and willing to answer any questions I have. The school provides great enrichment and remediation when needed. All in all, this school deserves an A+.

Coral sunset elementary school is one of the lesser known schools in the area, but has the most dedicated administrators, teachers, and staff. They work hard to make a difference in the education of children. My children have been very successful here and love school! They make reading fun and my kids look forward to reading now, which wasn't the case at their old school.

I was extremely disappointed with the Open House. My child s teachers seemed as if they didn t care at all. They hardly made an attempt to say hello to us. Our questions seem to be problematic for them to answer. The staff, administration and teachers were not very happy to meet and greet. I graciously said hello to the Principal and she could barely say hello back. Not a great way to start off the school year. SHAME on Coral Sunset Elementary School.

My son went to this school for 2 years. Staff is not very friendly and pricipal leadership is not strong at all. The school as a whole is not very organized. If your child is an average student, he or she will likely 'fall through the cracks'. My son was a straight As student all year round and the school does not do much to keep kids motivated. When asked, the excuse was that there s not enough funds, they did not even have the traditional 5th grade graduation that other schools have. If money is an issue, why not ask parents for help? I feel there s a lack of organization and being proactive. When compared to my other sons elementary school, Coral Sunset Elementary school does not come close. Would not recommend this school to anyone, worst in Boca Raton.

My two sons have been attending this school for the last 3 years. I only have great things to say about this school and the wonderful teachers they have had (Mrs. Woolsey, Ms. Hartman, Mrs. Robertson and Mrs. Oldfield). There is great teacher involvement in this school, and the PTA program is tremendous. They also have a wonderful aftercare program that both of my children love.

I must say that at first I was reluctant to send my daughter to this school. I believe in being involved and knowing exactly what is going on. What really matters most is the teacher. I feel that her teacher is Aces across the board. She is very well organized, experienced and very patient with her students. After many obstacles we have discovered that what matters most is the educator. if you are not involved and than you will be missing out on your childs education. Education is what you make of it.

My daughter attended this school for 2 and a half years. I have to say that I was ecstatic when I was able to enroll her in another school instead. Parental involvement is low and pricipal leadership is not very strong either. The school as a whole is not very organized. If your child is an average student, he or she will likely 'fall through the cracks'.

My daughter transferred to this school form MA and we actually had a hard transition coming into Fl. It seems less organized and the staff seems less friendly towards families of their students. There is always a feeling of not enough information. She eventually adjusted, although it took 8 months for her to establish a school spirit and a sense of loyalty for her school. I feel the curriculum is a bit easy and feel she learned more in the two months in MA than the eight months here based on teaching style. I did choose this school over a magnet school for 4th grade, so we are giving it a second chance. I hope when she has a difficult challenge the school will give more support this year coming up.

In my opinion this is the best Elementary school in Florida. Mrs. Thume (music teacher) teaches harp to some students and is a wonderful teacher. Here is a list of teachers I reccomend at each grade level. Kinder: Ms. Lane, 1st: Ms. Hartman, 2nd: Ms. Tanis, 3rd: Ms. Bates, 4th: Ms. Palmisiano, 5th: Ms. Grille. Hope this helps.
