Hernando Christian Academy

All three of my children attend HCA and the curriculum there far exceeds the local public schools. The high level combination of academics, bible and athletics they offer are unavailable at the tuition they charge. Comparable schools in the Tampa area are five to ten thousand more per year. The administration are always looking for ways to improve the school and are extremely approachable. My wife and I are blessed to have our children at HCA.

Our son entered Hernando Christian Academy last year. He found it extremely easy to make new friends. The administration, staff and teachers were caring and helpful. He was able to play sports and loved it. The academics were challenging and excelled with the excellent teachers he had. Overall it was an exceptional year for him. I would recommend this school to anyone!

Both of my children have attended school at HCA and I was very disappointed in the curriculum and the quality of teachers there. You definetly do not get what you pay for at this school. I think they focus too much on their athletics program and their 'ministry' instead of academics. I do not recommend this school to anyone. There are better private christian schools nearby with much lower tuition than HCA.

Hernando Christian Academy... it's been a bleesing to be back at HCA...This is the best school! The staff and administrator have been just great to deal with... I incourage anyone looking for a great school to look at HCA...

We enrolled our two boys in HCA this past school year and it has truly been a blessing. They enjoy going to school each and every day and have made wonderful frineds there. It is a privilege and a pleasure to be able to send them to school at HCA! The athletic program and Coach Boer have been an added blessing!

HCA has been a blessing to our family. Other private schools in the area do not even come close with what all HCA has to offer in addition to the academic curriculum. Though HCA s focus is to Bring up Leaders with Christian Character and teaching is certainly from a Biblical point of view, it also recognizes the critical need for preparation to be successful in the next academic level. HCA is focused on making sure all students have the same opportunities for college placement as those who attend public schools. Several HCA graduates have gone on to local colleges and universities via academic and sports scholarships. I encourage parents shopping for a Christian School not to automatically go with the less expensive as parents we can not afford to skimp on the best possible well rounded education available.

Hernando Christian Academy, is truly, hand down the best Christian private school in this area. The administraor and staff are great, caring people. That know how to run a school, and know how to treat children professionally.

I think this school needs to be swept clean. Not all of the administration is proper. Teaching staff needs to be re-evaluated. The overall program flip flops to often.

My kids have gone to HCA since K-4. The adminstrators, faculty and staff have such a heart for their students and strive to help them succeed in all they do. The kids get a well rounded education that focuses on the christian worldview and challenges them to always do their best.

I think that the teacher and adminstraitors at this school is very creative, and is always willing to help others out. All of them have a good personality, and great leadership skills !
