As a Nassau County School Board member and a Bryceville resident, I am happy to say that I had children who attended Bryceville Elementary School. They loved it and we loved it. The administration, staff and faculty have always done a great job not only educating the children but caring for and about them. If there is a need for before and after school child care, I will suggest to the school superintendent that parents are surveyed to see how much demand there is for child care at the school. Perhaps we can get a program started. Jim Adams School Bd memebr Dist 4

My Daughter goes to Bryceville Elm. School. and she is getting a great education. The teachers are friendly and expect the children to do their best. I went to this school as a child and moved back to Bryceville to raise my children. Bryceville is in great need of only one thing and that is child care. There is no before or after school program. There are very few extra activities at the school. However, I would not send my children to another school just to have the activities.

As a child I attended Bryceville Elementary School from Kindergarten through the Sixth Grade. As an adult, I moved away from the area and missed being there. The people of Bryceville are very friendly and everyone looks out for each other. After having children of my own, I moved back to Bryceville mainly to have my children attend the Elem. School. The school is much bigger than when I attended. However, it seems to be the same when it comes to the personal involvement by the staff and teachers. They really care about our children and want to make sure they are well prepared for their future. I am very happy to say that my child is consistently an Honor Roll student. I would not move my child to any other school in the area. There is only one negative thing that I would say about this school. I find it very difficult to understand why there is no before and after school child care. There are no day cares in the area and we have to make major sacrifices in order to have after school care. I would like to see a day care center open in the area as soon as possible. W.D.S.

We moved to the Bryceville area two years ago and have been very impressed with not only the academics but the support given to each individual child by teachers, parents, and the new principal Ms. Misty Lott. I think that adding her outgoing, joyful attitude to the staff has helped tremendously. Ms. Lott along with the teachers make sure that the students in Bryceville are getting all that they deserve. The school is small but growing!! If you are considering moving to the area, I assure you the school is great.

Bryceville elementary school is a good school, teachers seem to be very good and the principal is very nice and outgoing. There is a concern i have, i really wish there was a before and after school prime time. It would make it so much easier to have my child just go there after school than to have to find someone to watch her. I know they had it at one time, it would be nice if they could get it back.

Bryceville is a great school my kids used to go there before we moved and they loved it so much. They have the best teachers and staff around. We really miss the school and the community alot. Every time we come back into town we try to go visit them.
