Organic lunches at this school are delivered by Tiny Meals. This is a great school and they accept organic school lunches made by Tiny-Meals.com. Cooper City Elementary is a small school with 790 students and a caring staff.

Coming from another country I have to say Cooper City Elementary is very good! sometimes parent-teacher communication is non- existent but I think that is a norm in a US public school. Not knowing exactly what to expect this, our first year, was difficult. Sometimes we did not acknowledge that parents can join children to certain activities and found no one to tell us in advance that parents were allowed, we know is difficult but coming from a private out of the US school, it was easier to communicate with teachers even in higher grades, but overall the school is very good. Thank you

Cooper City Elementary School--- Not there if you really need them. The school is more worried about their reputation than helping the children in it.

My 5 children went to Cooper City elementary in the 80s and 90s and now my grandchildren attend there. They definitely cater to the smarter children, while those who need a little extra help or time to understand certain subjects, get left behind. The ESE program needs improvement and some of the teachers do little to help instill confidence in those children who need it most. I understand that budget cuts may be blamed for some of the problems, but teachers and staff should try concentrating more on the shy, quiet kids who need a little extra help. The smart kids will always do well.

My daughter has been at the school for 5 years. She is in 4th grade moving to 5th. We love the school and the staff. All of her teachers have been great and easy to communicate with. This year she had a new teacher to the school, Miss Rodgers. She is excellent. My daughter really likes her and she was fast to answer any of my concerns. The office staff is very helpful. We have used the aftercare for the past 4 years and my daughter is very happy there. Often times telling me to come later to pick her up.

I am very disapointed with this school, most of the staff are rude and careless. My dauther has been bullied by the "popular girls" and after repeated visits with the teacher nothing has been done. it is obvious that the teacher is indiferent to my daughter and the girls sence this, so they try to hurt her as much as they can by taking her stuff and they know they won't be reprehended. They said nothing can be done which is okay, but at least they should fake that a conversation will take place prohibiting this kind of behavior but they didn't even bother. I was screamed at because my daughter had a phone that she was't supposed to have. Instead of them maybe pretending to care or work something out? But again, that would be too much to ask from the faculty at this school.

My son has been a student of Cooper City Elementary for 5 years (he is currently in 4th grade; has been attending since Kindergarten). One of the reasons we moved to Cooper CIty was for the schools in the town. Let me just say that we could not have asked for a better school for our son. The Teachers and staff go above and beyond for the welfare of our son. Any child would be lucky to attend this school.

Phenomenal school! Administration does a wonderful job of keeping parents informed. Teachers are doing great at transitioning to Common Core Standards. My children are challenged and we are so happy!

The school restored all specials this year: Art, Music, PE, and Media. Students visit computer lab weekly. All classes are meeting class size. Our family is happy to be a Cub!

This school has suffered from cut backs. There is no PE, no art and no creativity in the curriculum. Science is taught by reading, rather than hands on. Teaching to the FCAT and other testing is the focus. I have had one or more kids in this school since 1998 and I have witnessed its decline. Students are no longer taught to be creative thinkers. They are taught to pass standardized tests.

I have been very sad to see the specials go. There was a great art program, computer lab teacher, and science program which are all gone now. The students are only receiving core classes and it is impacting their balance.

There are some aspects of this school that are very good, but if you want your child to have fun learning incorporated into their school year, this is not the school for you. Everything in this school is centered around the FCAT's. That is the only concern. Parent involvement is high, but if you volunteer expect harassment from the teachers and no support. Many teachers are rude and not willing to work with the parents. Many people love this school, but I had a lot of difficulty with many aspects of it. I want my children to love school and have an exciting education and that is not the case here. There are also many problems with bullying.

I was highly disappointed with this school. My daugther behavior stared to deteriorate everyday. No personal care from teachers. Bullying. I hate it. I moved her from there in the middle of the first year. The best I could have done! Now we both are happy.

The number of reassignments in this school has lowered the quality education provided. It is aggravating to buy in an area because of the school and find that due to circumstances beyond your controll your child is not getting the quality education you expected.

This is an outstanding school, my 2 girls have gone the past 2 years & they have turned the grades around &all of the credit goes to the teachers who brought some things to our attention that they needed help with & the other school she went to didn't care enough. I can't tell you how please I am with the talented teachers especially Mrs Nolan & Mrs Stein who have worked wonders with my 5th grader.

Teachers are the key to Cooper City Elementary. There's plenty of parent involvment and the extracurricular projects keep kids focused and motivated. We are lucky to have a school of this caliber in our neighborhood.

This is my sons 3rd year here. He has had ups and downs. The one problem there seems to be is 'bullying'. For the most part though Cooper City Elementary has went to all the highest efforts to help meet my son's learning needs. Ms. Milner is a blessing and has the patience of a saint! Overall rating is good!

My children have got an excellent education here. Encountered no problems till this year. School is becoming too crowded. New cafeteria and new classrooms should ease this. Teachers and other staff are top quality. It would be nice if Music teacher gets her own classroom again. Parental involvement seems really high. Would be nice to have a few more extracurricular activities.

Excellent school with respect to reading and writing. Specials like music, art, P.E. have suffered because of the 'critically overcrowded' status. Parent involvement is good.

The school is extremely over crowded. They have put two teachers in one classroom because there is no more room in the school. What a distraction! My son is in first grade and received his first quarter report card. He got just about all three's. I went and talked to the teacher and she was not willing to do a behavior report or send home a note if he had trouble on his assignment that day. Luckly I went and talked to the principal and she solved the whole issue. On the whole issue of the school I think they try there hardest to help the children excel.

This is my son's 2nd year at CCES. He's in the 3rd grade & my daughter attended the Pepper Program last year & is now in Kindergarten. For 2nd grade - Mrs. Fitch is fabulous and when I thought it couldn't get much better along comes Mrs. Silverman for 3rd grade. My son has come along way and I thank these 2 teachers tremendously. As for my daughter, in Pepper - Ms. Maria is outstanding, the Pepper Program is top notch. As for my daughter's Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Signorelli - well I couldn't have asked for a better teacher for my little girl. I have noticed a major difference in my children and I feel it is because they have teachers that are dedicated and truly care.
