I am saddened at the lack of leadership from the school. I am always overhearing teachers complain. No one seems happy there.

We are currently enrolling for the 2015-16 school year. Please contact the school office for a tour. Many classes are full as class size in limited. Summer camp is almost full! We have openings in select grades. Students who have completed Kindergarten-5th grade are eligible to attend camp. Middle School students may apply as Junior Camp Counselors.

I have 2 children at this school who will not be returning next year. I am not going to attack or say anything negative about a particular person or event but will say many issues have come up and have not been handled with any urgency. Even speaking about the incidents on several occasions there was a feeling I was just being told what they thought I wanted to hear. As far as the comments below, yes, the teachers are loving but ALL teachers everywhere work after hours and do extra for their students. That should be a given at a christian school that accepts children with exceptionalities. I also know reading below this was a direct response to a particular situation with one family and child. I am saddened a christian school would use this forum to lash out against what should have been a private conversation. That does show me gossip is rapid. Last I checked the God I serve would not find the behavior or responses very Christ like. I am leaving the school because there is no library, sports, media center, second language classes, or much of a PE. God is important but so are all the things the do not offer.

I teach at Parkridge Christian Academy and I can assure you, none of us are sitting around complaining about our principal and we are not running blind in regards to teaching! The teachers, administration, and staff are DEDICATED each and every day to providing a strong academic and Christ honoring environment. Why do we do it every day? Very simple...we ALL love the Lord and we ALL love these children like they were our own. I have taught there for 3 years and all 3 of my children attend and I could not ask for a more nurturing, God-fearing, God-loving environment. PCA has educated my children academically and most importantly, spiritually. Teachers, administration, and staff have loved on my children, guided and directed them, and disciplined them appropriately when they needed it! I could not possible put into words how special this place is to me. If you are looking for a school that nurtures the WHOLE child...then I highly recommend Parkridge Christian Academy! Go Panthers!!!!!

I have taught at Parkridge for five years and can say that I have not encountered a more dedicated and caring group of teachers in my 15 years of teaching. The teachers care deeply about each student, both academically and spiritually, and go above and beyond to meet individual needs. They spend hours outside the classroom preparing materials they think will best meet the needs of different learning styles. They pray regularly for their students, and teach them about the grace and love of Christ. Our students forge lasting relationships with the faculty and other students. In response to a comment about lack of guidance, I can say that our principal does indeed offer guidance and support to her staff. She has an open door policy and always stops what she is working on to listen. There are twice weekly grade-level staff meetings, and a monthly school-wide staff meeting. No school is perfect, and there is always room for improvement. Parkridge is dedicated to improving regularly. The administration asks for candid responses from teachers on what they think works and does not work at PCA, and they listen. Great small school with personalized attention!

This once was a great school. It no longer is. The teachers sit around complaining because there is no leadership or direction. They do their best but are running blind. The numbers keep falling every year and yet there has been no wake up call. Meeting after meeting and nothing gets done. A school cannot function with a principal who is part time at best and a secretary. The principal makes promises and does not follow through. This school once was a gold mine and it has been run straight into the ground. Look at other school's the mass exit every year is proof this is not a place for children.

I am so disappointed in the lack of ESE support. If an ESE student fails in multiple subject areas, that just proves the teachers have no support or proper training in making the accommodations needed in the ESE area. The school has A LOT of growing to do.

When we began this school year for VPK, I was not impressed. However, after a full year of preschool, I must say that this has been a great school with excellent teachers who go above and beyond. They had chapel performances and Mother's day celebrations that were adorable. My child matured and learned very much this year. I am glad we attended a Christian school that focused on the love of Christ. We will miss the teachers as we leave for Kindergarten now.

From a students point of view regarding middle-school, the teachers go over beyond what's necessary. They are genuinely incredible teachers. I got attention and care in every subject. Any problem I had spiritually, education and friends/family I would have guidance from a Christian point of view. I'm not lying when I say that my teachers are one of a kind, I could see myself still talking to them after I leave. The principal- mrs.wicker - is one of the kindest principals I ever had. She is stunning from the inside out. Mrs.wicker is kind-hearted,loving,interactive and funny(not lying). I feel as if PCA is my other family. The small classes are a huge benefit, they taught me to be more myself. But with all I said, don't assume its a easy free going school(if you know what I mean). It still has discipline and rules/consequence. -a happy student

PCA is a GREAT school, it has a very friendly and Christian environment. The teachers are phenomenal, each one of them is outstanding at what they do, the administration is amazing and the principal, Mrs. Wicker is wonderful. My daughter is in 8th grade and her experience at PCA has exceeded all expectations. The teachers are always helping her to reach her full potential academically, socially, spiritually and emotionally through Christian values. We have been part of the PCA Family for 3 years and I'm extremely pleased with the level of education, love and commitment of the teachers and staff.

My daughter just graduated 8th grade after spending 5 years at the Academy. She is now enrolled in The Quantum Leap program at CSHS. She is taking dual enrollment classes and AP courses. Her ability to be in this program as a freshman is a direct result of the dedicated teachers at Parkridge. PCA is a place where extra attention can be given to those who need a little extra help or challenge those who are above grade level. My daughter went into High school with 2 H.S. credits, one of which was Algebra.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this school! They love my children as their own. As a fulltime working mom it is reassuring that when I drop my kids off to school I know that they are safe and well cared for and they transition in to aftercare and are loved just as much there!

The teachers are WONDERFUL here! Ms V treats my daughter as if she were her own , while teaching her sign language and much more. My vpk student has the best time with her positive teachers and the curriculum is far superior than her previous school, is doing simple math problems and reading, science projects !! So happy here!!

My grandchildren attend the school and they love it. The one on one attention they receive from the smaller class size is amazing. The children have a real sense of belonging. The teachers and administration are caring and nurturing and clearly committed to quality and strong Christian values.

We did not have a good experience at the preschool. They changed teachers like you changed clothes and I never got great feedback from the teachers. I met 2 preschool teachers who taught there after we had left the school and they also mentioned that they resigned because of the administrative issues in the school. One teacher actually advised me to take my son elsewhere since the school didn't have enough funding to keep the kids engaged. I will definitely not recommend the preschool.

My Child is in 1st grade. It is now October and I have to say I am very impressed with the principal Mrs. Wicker. She has strong communication with all of the parents in my daughters class. I love the small teacher to student ratio it is almost half of what it would be at a public or charter school 9 to 1. This provides a learning environment that is non-existent in most schools today public or private. ACSI accreditation is why I picked parkridge though it is just my first year I am very happy. My sister has her son who is 3 in the pre-school program she is pleasantly surprised how fast her son learning. The school seems to me to be very caring for all the students.

My two year old son is in the pre-school program. Parent communication is quite frequent. All I can say is my son loves Ms Jobbit she is a great asset to the PCA team. The children go out to the playground twice a day, which is very important to me. I love how much the teachers care they truly give my 2 year old the attention, care and love. I was so hesitant to put my baby in school but I am glad I did. PCA is my eyes is the best I will have my son stay until 8th grade.

I have two children in Parkridge CA and have had the great pleasure of experiencing both the preschool and elementary programs. My children are thriving both academically and spiritually under the care and attention of the dedicated teachers, pastors, staff and directors! They love, nuture and care for our children as if they were their own and we completley trust them with our children's education. The class parents, families and volunteers are amazing to work with as well. Our family is truly blessed that God has led us to Parkridge.

I have my 2 year old son in this school. They care for my son like it was their own. I am currently a Kindergarden teacher and have seen kids in my class from this school grow to be very successful in the Kindergarden Curriculum. The learning is top notch the staff is very caring the environment is very clean. My only compliant is to have a healthier food options available to students who do not want to bring their own lunch.

I will be short, not happy. Teachers make immature decisions and get away with it. They also don't know how or don't want to support the student.

Parkridge Christian Academy has the following 6th grade's great instructors: Mr. Halulko, Ms. Magee, Mr. Pierce (guitar instructor). They are innovative, creative, responsible, motivate the students to do their best. They really care. We are bless to have them as our child instructors. God bless them!

One big problem, I notice about this school is- That to be a Christian school, the principle Mrs. Woods is too focus on the fathers, she speaks to the mothers if she have too. But she surely needs deliverance for lust. This is her weakness. Hope she start praying for salvation, since she puts on all the forms about the book of Matthew 18. Hope she starts taking serious the Gospel of Christ.

Parents beware: this is the same school as "Parkridge Christian Pre-School". They changed the name a few years ago. The director is deceitful: says all the perfect answers that parents and government officials want to hear to make everything look "good". After numerous careless mistakes and several meetings with teachers and director, it was obvious to me that they lack the level of responsibility, professionalism and organizational skills required to be the kind of school they claim to be. "Forgetting" my child that was supposed to be picked up for after school care, letting child walk out of after school care, forgetting to administer my child's breathing treatment are some of the many mistakes made. Academics: my son went from average to "below average" in Math the first year he was there...This school has a lot of growing and staff "clean-up" to do before they can be who they say they are. My husband and I tried for three years, giving them many chances, but sadly they never got their act together.

A christian school kicks a 2 year old out of school after 1 incident and NO WARNINGS!!!!! Hands the 2 year olds posessions (just the diapers and wypes that were provided, not the personal items he had created in the school) and says we made the decision that we DO NOT WANT YOUR SON IN OUR SCHOOL. No sit down explanation and no bye. Would GOD do this? Or would GOD want to help. I do not think this school really represents GOD!!!!!!!
