James S Hunt is one of the best elementary schools in the country. The caring staff from the office to the cafteria having nothing but the childrens welfare at heart. The teaches are outstanding and are always there for them no matter what. They always give a 100% each and every day.I have three children that attend Hunt ,first, third and fifth grade so I've seen what a great school Hunt has been over the years.

What an excellent school! What some lovely teachers and the parents too are so friendly. I had some trepidation about moving my three children to yet another school as they had been to other schools in Florida and also in France and England, so moving them yet again was a huge worry for me. I need not have worried at all though, everyone made me us feel so welcome. The teachers are so dedicated and only want the best for the children. The Principal Mrs Braly is so 'on the ball' she knows all the children and parents and always makes time to see and help you. I only have wonderful things to say about the school and can't say enough good things.

The Principal and Teacher's are amazing. They accomodate and take personal intiative with each individual students success, in a very diverse atmosphere. They offer many educational after school camps for the children, which with budget cuts are difficult to fund, but Ms. Braly always finds a way. She knows these camps are important and enhance the children's learning. What do I love about James S. Hunt Elementary......the children come first and every childs success is not an option, it's a necessity.

Hunt Elementary is an Excellent Elementary School! I have 2 sons attending, and they love this school! The teachers are great, and the Principal Ms. Braly, is the most dedicated Principal you'll ever meet! She knows every student and parent by name! She takes the time to get to know all the students and together with the teachers, they place the student in the class that's best suited for their abilities and personality. I'm so happy my kids wound up in this school!

I have 3 children that attend or have attended this school. I can't say enough wonderful things about it. My daughter was able to get into a medical magnet middle school and has now been accepted to Atlantic Technical Magnet High School which only accepts 150 new students each year. Hunt really prepares their children to succeed and excel. My sons are now in 3rd grade and Kindergarten and they can't wait for school to begin.

Hunt Elementary is an excellent school with excellent staff. They have been an A+ school for many years because of the dedicated teachers who work hard to help their students achieve. They have a strong PTA that helps parents be involved in their child's education. My children love attending the school because of great learning experiences, caring teachers, fun activities, festivals, afterschool clubs and camp opportunities. When I lived in NY people often talked about how bad Florida schools where.....I found a gem in Coral Springs!

Hunt elementary is a great school. I am so lucky to have my child graduate form this school. The principal and the teachers really care about the students' experience while in school. Parent participation is encouraged and the parents of these students really get involved. This school is awesome and they have specialized classes to fit your child's educational level. My daughter is graduating and she has nothing but good to say about this school. She has been attending since the second grade. Go hunt owls!

This school is among the best public schools in Broward. Coral Springs in general has an excellent school system -- and this school is at the top of that list. Excellent administrative direction and leadership from the principal Mrs. Braley. Dedicated teachers with both tenure and desire. Surrounding community is very mixed from your average cookie-cutter middle class homeowner type through transient immigrant apartment dweller. Left to its own this group of students would produce wide-swings in abilities and educational achievement with a very big separation from top to bottom. But through the efforts of the staff this school is consistently an

The principal is the one making it all happen! Great leadership, knowledge and availability. Miss Braley is the best principal in my book! Thank you for being always available to listen to parent's concerns and acting expiditiously to resolve it.

The students enjoy attending this chool. The level of participation is always high. During holidays they are anxious about going back. I have a 10 year old that would want to attend any other school and she's attended other elementary schools so she knows a good school. Hunt Elementary provides so many different programs for all levels. There are after school academic camps as well as different scheduled an planned activities for the children in after-school care at the school. The principal encourages parent participation. The school has scheduled english and math workshops after school for each quarter for the students and their parents to participate in to understand what the teachers are expecting from their child in class. Preparation for the FCAT is has become a priority. The school and the principal has managed to balance all these including spring and winter festival/fairs and a holiday celebration in December.

I have 2 daughters attending currently, I have seen tremendous growth in both girls especially in the last year. The teaching staff is 1st quality all the way. The academic program is diverse but systematic. The teachers are accessible by voicemail but I find email to be most effective because response time is almost immediate. It is an ethnically diverse school and the administration foster an environment that is condusive to cultural tolerance and acceptance. There is still room for a lot more improvement but they seem to be on the right track. The after-school activities are engaging and expose the children to a variety of activities-from technology to the arts. After-care program can certainly improve by introducing advance tutoring for the after-care kids. PTA is very active and conduct many fund-raising drives. At least 4 family oriented activities conducted outside school hours-opportune time for the parents to meet. School needs to address language barrier.

I think Hunt is a wonderful school acedemically. THe variety of children is a great way to teach your child about racial diversity, however the parents of some of these children are another issue entirely. The pareants are often very confrontational especially during the pick up/drop off time. The principal and SRO have been made aware of the terrible conditions duiring this time but either there is not enough man power or something serious has to occur before this is taken seriously. Otherwise the office staff and teachers are very accomodating and I appreciate the ability to have my children benefit from the wonderful programs Hunt Elementary provide for both student and parents and will continue to support them as much as possible.

My daughter attended this school for 2 years. When she started at the end of 3rd grade, she could not read. Thanks to a wonderful ESE teacher my daughter can now read at grade level. All issues were addressed by the principal with care, compassion and concern. She knows all the students by name and truly loves each one of them. We will always be in debt to this school for all its done for us.

I have as well as had 3 kids in this school,I think that the school principal has done a wonderful job. No parent can ask for anything more she is wonderful. Teachers at this school are always on task with the students. They are always there to provide attention to the students as well as their parents needs.I love this school and will hate to leave it this year when my last child heads to middle school but with all that Hunt has giving my children in the years I have no worries that my children will continue achieving straight As. Thank you Hunt Elemenary for giving my kids the best education they can get.

This is a wonderful school. The teachers are so dedicated, as well as the staff. They make it a point to know your child on a personal level. You feel very at home, which is what children need, being that the spend 6+ hours a day here. I already am excited that my 13month old will go here.
