This school is struggling this year due to a recent reconfiguration from 4-5-6 to K-5. The administration is having a bit of a hard time getting down to the level the K-3 students need. Lack of funding has also affected the in-room supplies for the K-3 classrooms. This school has no playgrounds. A 3-5 playground will be ready for use before school end 2005, however, the K-2 has just broken ground. I do feel my child is covering alot of material in 1st grade and homework is lasting 30 -40 minutes on the average. However, I feel my 4th grader would benefit from a stricter course program. I have been disappointed in the music, art and PE programs in this district in general. Broward County has implemented a class reduction mandate and most specials are 'on wheels' in all classes. The schools in this district are almost all overcrowded.
Fantastic school! We, as parents, could not be more satisfied! For the first time, my son is excited about attending classes. The teachers are awesome and the atmosphere is inviting. We highly recommend it.

My daughter attended Eagle Ridge this year and she has learned so much in just the short year she was there. I am very pleased with Eagle Ridge.

A wonderful school! Most parents choose the option of having their 6th graders remain at Eagle Ridge so they begin middle school in the 7th grade. This innovative program makes the transition to 7th grade a smooth one for both parents and students. The after school clubs are a fun way for the students to enhance their education. Overall we found the school to be excellent in every way.
I think this is a wonderful school. Teachers are very involved with their children and it seems the principal cares about the children here. They are not just numbers but individuals.
This is a wonderful school. My three children have gone there. Everyone aims for excellence at Eagle Ridge, from the principal to the janitors. They are always trying new ways to improve. They set high expectations for everyone. This is a magnet school that only houses grades 4, 5, and 6. Miracles happen there in 3 short years. Well done, Eagle Ridge
