I am in the IB program. So far, I believe this is a wonderful experience. The teacher are wonderful. Dr.Regina Delpino is an excellent coordinator. The staff always does their best not only to make sure we learn but to also make sure that the environment we learn in is comfortable and that we understand what we learn. I am on Team Asimov and you can't get better teachers than Djariana Damato, Adam Rhodes, Mathew Pugatch ,Patricia Fogel and Danladi Allen. The elective teachers are also doing a phenomenal job. Teachers like Adrianna Karam , Roy Clark, Roderick Daniels and Carol Cannerito. I suggest all parents send their kids to this wonderful school and invest in the IB program too. It will be a wonderful experience!

I love this school! I was planning to go to Pompano, but this thankfully was a better choice. I'm in IB and my teachers really teach you and challenge you, unlike some other teachers. The other kids are a bit bad, but the staff and security make sure everything is ok.

I have been very please with the IB program at DBMS. My child is activily engaged in community service and social activities sponsored by Dr. Del Pino. Dr. Del Pino is present at lunch every day and all of the students love her!!! She is the reason I chose this school for my childd. The program is very hands on. The students go on worthwhile field trips. The teachers are either gifted endorsed or Nationally Board Certified Teachers and are well liked by all of the students. Students take pride in their work and encourage others to do their best. My child reads like crazy now and all of the students discuss books as if they are in daily book clubs!! I can not speak more highly of this program. Last year the guest speakers at the year end program was a young senior at DBHS who got accepted to Yale!!!!

This school employees a good number of administrators and teachers who really do wish to provide the best education and safety expected from parents worth their title, but they are fighting a loosing battle here. There are so many students attending this location who couldn't care less about studies, and the parents are usually to blame. Good luck winning that war.

My son attends the IBO program at DBMS. We were promised much more than my son recieved. We chose DBMS IBO beacause there was a band, Robotics, and foriegn language. My son did not get Band or Robotics and only half of the language instruction we were assured he would experience. Dr. Delpino was not helpful at all. The teachers were wonderful however and really worked hard to help my son succeed. I am sure that the problem was over seating of the 6th grade IB program.

Very satisfied with the IB program. The teachers are knowledgeable and motivating. The IB students are a close knit group. The school has students learning at all levels and every student is encouraged to learn and do their best. There are many opportunities to grow at this school. Staff friendly and responsive. If you want to volunteer they love it. Just show up and they will tell you how you can help but you must be screened thru the county to volunteer. The Principal is outstanding, smart and experienced. Highly recommend the IB program, you child will be well prepared for high school graduating from the IB program.

I have had two children in the IB Program at this school. I am very disappointed in the program and it certainly doesn't live up to being a challenging and interesting program. These students do not need months and months of FCAT practice. The teachers seem burned out and don't seem to know how to engage high achieving students. Safety has become a major issue. There seems to be no partnership between parents and the school. It is often hard to arrange a conference and after years of signing up to volunteer have never been asked to help in school. Very disappointing.
