Dundee Elementary is a great school reguardless of their grades or anything most might consider it a "Bad School" but they werent in it i was im now in middle school it was AMAZING i never had trouble the school and teachers themselves go WAY back i had some of the teachers that MY parents had when they were kids unlike my new school, the teachers really do care about the students i feel very safe there and the staff is just amazingly friendly not intimidating like the ones at my new school everyone gets along so great the lunch ladies to the teachers to the administrators are great and if your child was in trouble they could find ANY adult there and they would protect them to their fullest ability its an all around fantastic school and i would definetly recommend sending your child here (why do you think i wrote THAT much if i didnt think so ;]) p.s. i recieved a 2-year scholarship while attending that school from Polk State College and a Bulova watch for making straight A's all year :D
I have been a parent at Dundee Elementary for nine years. Both of my children and I have had a wonderful elementary school experience. The teachers are great., the office staff is friendly and administration is supportive and available anytime.
I have been involved with Dundee Elementary for almost 10 years and it has been a WONDERFUL experience. Everyone from the lunch ladies to the principal are welcoming and very helpful. Even in my experiences with the Spanish speaking students, I am amazed at the depth of involvement by the ESOL paras that help these students and their parents learn the English language. I LOVE DUNDEE ELEMENTARY!!!!!
My child has only went to this school one year.I went to this school as achild and had teacher issues to. My child had a teacher that would not communicate with me or send any of his\her graded work home for me to review, I got notices about events either the day before leaving me no time to prepare or not at all.My questions I wrote in the agenda or in a letter went unanswered. She held my child back academically she simply wouldnt allow them to do some activities they were suppost to do because she was running behind.she didnt send their homework folders home half the time so they could learn the vocab and spelling words they needed to have memorized for a test later on in the week. I expressed my concerns with the principal she basically said lets see what happens, one day after forcing my child in the car to go to school, I walked him\her in he\she went down the hall to breakfast I walked back to my car and made a phone call then got ready to back out and my child came running up to my car crying. My child made it back out of the school upset and alone right past a couple of teachers and the asst. principal unnoticed! needless to say my child will NOT return next year!!!
My children attend this school and they have wonderful teachers I believe that Mrs Krug and Mr Daniels are the best that scool has and the main office personal are great
My daughter has been in Dundee Elementary school for 2 years.. I have been very impressed with the things she has learned.. she has Mrs.Elliott this year. And she is a wounderful teacher. I have yet to have a bad thing to say about Dundee Elementary school.. I suggest anyone that is thinking of putting thier child in this school to go for it...
my son has been in this school for 2years, and i am very much thankful for the way they care about there kids, because i've seen the way they are , i am a volunter and know that during the school hours they belong to us. now that he is leaving and he is entering jr. i will be worried were he might be going. thinking of home schooling. but any one who wishes to send there child to dundee please do. your care for your child is in good hands. god bless.
My children attend this school and it is a good school. Most of the teachers try to help the children learn, but there are a few teachers who are set in their ways and won't change to make the learning better/easier for the kids.
Dundee Elementary is a great school. The teachers and staff are very involved and really care about the students. Mrs. Davis in particular has won both me and my daughter over with her upbeat enthusiasm and genuine interest in the children she works with. After School activities such as *mi casa si casa* are simply awesome as an incentive for the children's learning and social activities as well as for the parents who work during the day. Fantastic School on every level!
