The Montessori Program is an excellent program. My son loves this school and he loves his teacher. I couldn't be happier that my 13 year old boy loves school. That is a blessing.

sunrise is the bomb! escecially the montessori program. i am in the program now and in the 8th grade. in 6th and 7th grade i was in traditional. i thought it was okay but the kids are out of control. if you were going to send you child to sunrise, go montessori. there is soo much for your kids to do and they will have soo much fun with the activaties that they allow and by learning!

The Montessori program at Sunrise Middle is excellent. Both of my daughters attend and are doing well. Their teachers work very hard so that they can excel. I would only recommend Sunrise Middle if they child is in the Montessori Magnet program. The 'traditional' students seem to be out of control and don't have an interest in education.

My child recently started this school and we are horrified by the whole thing. Students are aggressive, loud, troubled, more interested in fashion than education, and it seems all that the teachers do is try to discipline them. I found no extra curriculum activities and a poor level.

This is the best school ever! If you go to the montessori program, you won't believe how much fun you hace while doing work, and how much you learn! We have many field trips such as Washington D.C for 8th graders. Also community meeting, which is a daily 15 min meeting for the classmates you acknowledge others, comment, ask questions and share. It is a great way to make friends. I graduated there year 2005 and I miss that school and the teachers and staff. Mrs. Prisciando, Mrs. Arnoux, Mr. Cochrin, Mrs. Hamilton, are the best teachers ever!
