Sure FMS is a great school especially if you enjoy teachers screaming in your child's face or teachers talking about there students behind there backs.. yeah its an amazing school and the teachers only act like teachers if the is a principal around..isn't that wonderful..I am removing my child from the school asap!

We moved from a neighboring county and were a little hesitant about the Freeport schools. After 1 year at FMS, my son is doing exceptionally well academically, socially, and emotionally. The teachers and administrators are dedicated, professional, and truly concerned about the students. We've had a wonderful experience and look forward to enrolling our younger children at FMS.

My son is going into his 3rd year at FMS this fall and very happy to be there. I must say that I was very nervous before he started due to the local rumor mill. I am very happy to say none of the negative rumors are true! He went into the school a 4.0 A student and remains a 4.0 A student after his second year there. The only changes in him have been positive ones and I credit the awesome teachers at FMS for these changes. He has really blossomed and become a more outgoing and confident young man due to participation in extra-curricular activities such as drama and sports. And as a member of this schools PTO for 2 years now it has been a pleasure to get to know the awesome and caring teachers and staff at this school. They are the best!!

What a wonderful school. My experience at FMS has been wonderful. The teaching staff and the administration are so concerned about the well-being of all of the students. Its size makes it a family who cares. Thank you!

As a frequent visitor/volunteer, I am so proud of FMS. Despite it's small size, the students have ways to be involved and share their unique talents during and after school. The teachers and staff care deeply about the students and go above and beyond to support them.

There is no other way to say it, Do Not Enroll Your Child @ Freeport Middle School! We moved here and heard negative feedback about the the school but ignored the negative comments. Big mistake!!! We are taking both our children out of FMS and transporting them 30 miles one way each day to get them out of FMS. Uncooperative staff, they disregard parent input, poor principal. Student recognition is non-existent.

My children hate FMS. Teachers start and end their day at the bell. There is very limited Extra-curricular activities. It has been a terrible experience. We are in the military and move a lot. This was the worst of many schools we have worked with. The principal is never available to meet with parents.
