Apollo Middle School

I moved from california to florida a few months ago I went to apollo for 2 days and HATED it. it's not a very good school the people get in fights and there not very welcoming they give you your schedule and expect you to know where to go I went to all the wrong classes on my first day the teachers are rude to the students and the people in the office are very unprofessional I was sitting in there for an hour waiting for someone to take me to class and the sectary was talking about going clubbing I wouldn't recommend going there

I'm Am Going To Be Attending Apollo Middle School In Hollywood , Fl For My 8 th Grade Year And I Wanted To Know Can The Students Wear Jeans To School ?

So what if there are some bad attitudes from the teachers? Some students in this school give them a hard time!I think the teachers should get a better feedback! They work hard! Trust me,I know half of this schools teachers!They deserve a break every once in a while!I even struggle with some of these students' behavior!So,don't think of this school as a one ticket to a life of misery,think of it as a opportunity to learn from past mistakes this school has suffered from!

I was an 8th grander just this year, now im heading for high school. I spent two years at this school (7th & 8th). This school is.. Alright. Its not one of the worst. But i wouldn't recommend it too much. There's a fight like everyday. The teacher are okay. They are strict. If your going i definitely recommend going into the kee team. Its way better than the other teams,the teachers are better and people are nicer. I must warn that kids obviously bring drugs, and even sell them, but you don't see that in the kee team. Oh,and i don't know much about the new principal, the one i had this year left for west hollywood elementary (which is an amazing school btw) i love this school, and im definitely going to miss it a lot. My son went to this school for one year, the principle was nice, the ladies in the reception area were always nice and considerate also was the school nurse. My son did think some of the teachers yelled too much and treated the students with lack of respect. Which I think too many teachers are getting away with too much these days...

not happy with the teachers invovlment with the students in the teaching process I do not feel the students are learning information that they will retain for future use or in the grades to come. My son is an average student and I believe I teach him more than some of the teachers at this school. I am not happy with most of the teachers my son has had at this school as far as the teaching that is going on here. I am sorry but I have encountered a lot better.

I am currently a 7th grader at this great school.i love apollo, you get to meet the most caring and open hearted people ever.The teachers they are the best.They help you untill you know what to do and they never give up.They also understand us and always greet you with a smile and opend arms.I turly love all my teachers.The activities we do for the school and the community are great,(we help out a lot).In Apollo you will meet the most awesome people that care for you.This school is like a second home to me,theirs older and yunger siblings,and yeah we fight sometimes, but at the end the Rockets always have each others back and cheer each other on. I love this school.Yeah one more thing a strongle disagree with the ratting of the school Apollo is a TEN!

i am i 6th grader at apollo and i think it is an amzing school... when i got there i was scared and i to meet new people and i got the best teachers. mr.t and ms.watson are two amazing teachers, so is ms.chern... i love that school and everyone in it... the teachers are amazing and the friends that u make are amazing.... i love apollo middle school and i would recammend it to any parent who is thinking about taking thier child there... I LOVE APOLLO

No fluff, no fancy words, no two ways about it, the teachers at Apollo are busting their backs to educate, nuture and parent the students in their school and the community. Look at their participation with the evening activities, such as parenting nights and check out the cars in the lot after 4:00PM as well as before 8:30 AM. This speaks more than words can. Apollo YOU ROCK!

I love this School even though unfortunately I am not able to go to this school anymore because of where I happen to live. But in all experiences at the 5 different middle schools i have been to (yet I am only half way through 8th grade) this has definitely been the best one ever!!!! Go Apollo Rockets!!! =]] and the best teachers ever are: -Mr.Trujillo -Mr.Rodriguez -Mr.Porter -Mrs.Aveni -Mrs.VanMetre -Mr.Malagon(band) -Mrs.Givens(Business) -Mr.Israel!(i was there when he first started) This school is the home to the coolest friends a.k.a. Family i have ever had !! =] - 08-07 Student.
