This school is one of the best-kept secrets in Duval County. It is a small school, with a close-knit community of students, teachers and parents. We have two children at this school, and have been extremely pleased with the education and overall experience they have been receiving. The principal, Mr. Price, is exceptionally caring and hard-working, and a very effective leader of the school. The physical facilities are not the newest or most modern, and the students for the most part do not come from the wealthiest families in town; but these things really don't matter when your children are safe, happy, and receiving a first-rate education. It is not surprising that many parents who live outside of the school's boundaries have sought and received special permission to send their kids to Parkwood. You should send your kids here too. Call Mr. Price and ask for a tour.

This is an excellent school. The teachers are hands on and the principal is alsome. I have never seen a person so hands on. He takes time out of his busy schedule to walk the children to the cross walk. What a alsome person. My Gabriel and Amber love Mr. Price. Thank you for all you do. Love The French's

I am a parents that is very involved in my childs education. The communication with the teachers needs to improved. Teaching methods needs to imporve. All kids are not structed to learn the same way, new methods must be taught.

I regret ever having sent my children here. My oldest child had 3 different teachers the first year because teachers keep quitting. It happened again the second year. Both my children complained of cockroaches being everywhere. It's run down and filthy. The teachers put too much pressure on students about FCATs. I'll never send my kids back.

Parkwood Heights Elementary is a wonderful school! My daughter is currently a 5th grader and has attended this school since Kindergarten! She has had a terrific elementary education! I just wish we could keep her at this school forever but unfortunately this is her last year and we have to leave the wonderful faculty and staff! My daughter has had nothing but wonderful teachers who care about their job! We love you Mrs. Chauncey, Mrs. Cullins, Mrs. B. Smith. Mrs. Gentzkow, Mrs. Rehm, Mr. Gentkow, Mrs. ELlingworth, Mrs. Dodge, Mrs. J. Smith and Mrs. Golden and also Mrs. S. and Mrs. Gorlich in the front office are so terrific too! WHat would we have done without Parkwood Heights! We love you!
