I am a student at Ribault I aboslute love it. We are involved in the community alot. I am a mentor and under my mentorship the elementary student grades went from Low D's to High A's. So Ribault is just like any other school when it comes to bad students. We all are not bad or terrible. Just a small few that mess things up for the bright ones like myself. but overall a awesome school. This is my fourth year at Ribault and I am the Student Council Vice-President and Mr. Ribault 2nd Runner-Up, and proud to say that I am the National Young Leader of Florida for the Year of 208-2009. You did not expect that type of achievement to come for a student that attends Ribault. that just lets you know how great my school is and how beneficial it is to the students!

I have kids in 3 different age brackets that have graduated from Ribault and 1 now attending with a grandaughter a nephew and a niece there also. These two years have been the Best. The Principal is very approachable and visible at school and all types of events in evening and weekends.I have always been able to talk with any of the teachers if I had any concerns.Dr. Ranch is a major assest to that school.

Jean Ribault High School is an excellent school. My daughter is in the Early College Program and also participates in the ROTC program. My daughter is currently a 4.0 student. My daughter loves Ribault. Ribault's academic programs are outstanding. The majority of the teachers are available for the students and want the students to succeed. Ribault has music, art sport and other extracurricular activities available for those students who are interested. My daughter participated in volley ball, cross country and basketball. The majority of the coaches are supportive and have great leadership qualities. Positive parent involvement is on the rise and one may need to look behind the scenes to see those dedicated parents, who are very supportive of their children and Jean Ribault High School.

Ribault High School continues to provide a quality education for all. The school witnessed academic growth in every area this past year on the state assessment. This is clearly the sign of a school headed in the right direction. There are many very good teachers working there as well.
jean ribault senior high is the greatest school I have ever seen. The teachers are amazing. The students are wonderfully disciplined. My daughter, Briana is enrolled in the Early College Program there and it is simply incredible how much she is learning. Her friends are all about what they are going to do in life, and she even wants to write a book about her time in this school. Jean Ribault is brimming with social integrity. You have to send your child here. It will change their perspective entirely from being good, to being great. Jean Ribault contains spirit, pride, and intellect. Everything you could ever hope for.

I feel Ribault is a school with tons of potential. Both of my kids are enrolled in the MCJROTC program and have excelled. Col. Watson and 1st Sgt. Landrum are teachers who are involved in all aspects of the kids schooling. They are just 2 of the teachers who wish to guide these kids along the right path in their lives, whatever that might be. I do however think that the guidance department could use an overhaul. They are understaffed to be able to effectively help the students choose the right classes and to help them with decisions concerning college, or what they might decide to do after high school. My kids travel 40 minutes each way to attend this school, and I would drive them if need be. I feel they are treated with respect and have the guidance and support they need to succeed in school and after graduation.

It is my belief that this school is poorly led, the staff and administrators or not very informative. The schools current focus seems to be on their new IB program, which only accommodates about 5% of the currently enrolled students. My question is what about the other 95%. My son played high school baseball at this school and what a total failure this was. Not to demean all teachers at this school some are excellent teachers but many are not and are out to help only a few.

Ribault is attempting a comeback that will work with school, student, parent and community support. It has the Early College Program that should have a waiting list of applicants. Everyone is involved in the student's success. If you are looking for a school that offers a rich culture w/ a focus on academics, then Ribault is the school for you and your child. This comment is provided by what I have experienced since August 2006. My child is a new student and making the Honor Roll. The class and homework is very involved. Because of the preparation at Ribault, my child is destined to do well in college. Also, security should not be a concern. The security guards and resource officers are on-call and prepared to stop any problems. My child is safe, just like at any other school. Thank you, Mr. Lyons for being the Early College Director and caring.

This school willcontinue down hill, until the bad student (those which have no interest in learn are sent on their way). The teachers and staff need to act like adults and not like the best friend of their student (be a mentor not a child. What it all come down to, the principal will have to apply total leadership. Thanks, camille grey

Terrible School. Teachers, staff, parents, and students blame everyone but themselves for how poorly this school performs. Sad part is that they have been given every opportunity to improve and have no one to blame but themselves.
