The school is great! There are some teachers I do not care for but overall there are wonderful and very smart teachers here. My favorite math teacher who helped my daughter out a lot and she was always there for her was Mrs. Sharma she is excellent I would refer her to any parent. You have to be careful I heard some teachers are not good teachers but overall they are all great. The staff is also very nice and helpful.

Well I must say that the Band program is fantastic! We have gotten superiors for the past..20 something yrs. There have been issues with teachers before the language teachers don't tend to stay around to often. The school has started offering acadamies. And students are offered Dual enrollment and many other opportunities. Although sometimes you have to be persistent to get the classes you want. Overall though this is a great school. with minimal safety issues.

I feel the elementry and middle schools are GREAT homespun schools, however the high school lacks any communication with parents! and children!

I wish there were more challenging classes like advanced placement or a better gifted program. I am excited to hear about the new communications class this year. The school really needs a choir. Overall though, I really like the school.

The music & art program is terrific. The kids are pretty good kids, most of them. Sometimes, though you have to be persistant about what you want for your child. I have 2 (going on 3) kids in this school. The office staff is very friendly & always professional. I have my concerns about somethings, but, over all a very good school. -S.Y.

I have a sophmore at Union County High School. I am very pleased with every aspect of it. The teachers are very concerned about student progress. Most teachers willingly give of their time after hours to provide extra help on assignments. The office staff is outstanding. It's always a pleasure to visit!
