School provides a great learning experience for serious students and is always trying to help those who struggle. Offers many programs accademicly and athleticly after school.

My daughter is in the Lecanto School of Art program and I'm very pleased during our first year here in Fl. This coming year, her teacher has a trip scheduled to Italy. We are so excited!

My child began this school year and has entered a brand new program to this county, the IB program. He is doing very well and has a team of dedicated teachers at his side. Cudos to all of the IB team who work so hard for the gifted.

A magnet for disrespect and bullying. Whoever said the school system is set up for cramming is correct!

I have hated this school since the day my daughter attended her orientation for 9th grade. The administration doesn't return calls, the office staff is rude; the guidance department is pathetic. The classes are on a block schedule - which means your child may go a year between math or science classes.

We are also from New Jersey and although I will say that Lecanto has much lower standards than that of New Jersey, but Florida is very far behind New Jersey to begin with. I have found already that even with the lower standards, the teachers are awesome and do try to challenge the youth. They are respectful and friendly, extremely knowledgeable in their subject matter and they do their best with what the state gives them. My child is in advanced courses due to his education in New Jersey so they are compensating for his higher abilities. Lecanto is a great school and I am proud to say that my child goes there with four more children following him in the future.
