I have two children who currently attend Veterans Park Academy for the Arts. One of my children is in elementary and the other in middle school. I can't express enough how pleased I am with the school, the administration staff, the teachers and the programs that are offered. All of the programs including the ones in elementary school are very focused on the academic needs of the children and are aligned with the Florida Sunshine State Standards. The elementary teachers communicate daily through planners and many of the elementary teacher's send home their own newsletters besides the one that is put out monthly by the school. I found that parent link is a fantastic user friendly system to use to look up my children grades and to find out what assignments are complete or missing. The teachers all keep up websites that have information that is valuable to me.

Veterans Park Academy for the Arts is a great school. The teachers, administration and support staff all care about students. The curriculum is challenging and the library has many interesting books for the students to check. This school year my son took guitar class and went from not being able to play to playing a full repertoire of songs. I give this school a Grade A rating!

Veterans Park Academy for the Arts follows strict guidelines when it comes to the safety of the students. I have my two children at this school and I know that they would not release my children to just anyone.

My children have attended this school since it opened. I love it!! I can't say enough good things about it. I love that they wear uniforms. The teachers are the best, they help the students and are great at communicating with the parents. The principals are very involved with the kids. I am so glad that I picked this school!!!!

I have a kindergarten student and agree that this school's curriculum for kindrgarten is lacking. Parents are expected to do much of teacher's job at home. Yher is poor communication from teacher to home in regard to testing and dates of testing. No test scores are sent home or explanations of scores when you ask about testing. I am very disapporinted in the lack of concern for our youngest studetns.
