I love and appreciate the staff at Pinecrest Academy North Campus. My daughter started in kinder and is now in 2nd grade. The education is great and the caring treatment from each member from the school is exceptional. Great communication with the teachers themselves and the office as well. Can't beat the family oriented atmosphere.

My two daughters assist to this school. I have the better opinion from their teachers and the staff in general. The school is very organized and looks like the staff is compromising with the work they are doing. The caring and respect for the children is splendid! We have previous experiences in other schools and so far this has been the best of all.

My daughter, who previously attended a Montessori school, has attended this school since its opening for the school year 2009-2010. The education to with which she has been exposed has exceeded my expectations. The principal has undoubtedly put forth much effort in staffing extremely competent and professional teachers. They possess the skills and capacity to provide a high degree of education, complemented by a sense of caring. The administration is also well-qualified and they have operated with a great sense of organization. I have no doubt that Pinecrest Academy Charter North Campus will continue to exceed in all aspects. As with anything new, there will always be plans for improvements, simply because "the sky's the limit". I strongly recommend this school for anyone who wishes to provide their child with an excellent, caring education within a family environment.

About the tests

Florida uses School Grades to measure the overall performance of a school each year on the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT). Each school is assigned a letter grade (A-F) based on three criteria: the overall performance on the FCAT, the percentage of eligible students who took the test, and whether or not students made progress in reading and math. The School Grades are calculated by adding points earned from each of the performance criteria listed above.
