I don't know why there are bad reviews for this school. Honestly, no matter what school you attend there will always without a doubt be a problem with it, it's just a matter of who you are and who you hang out with. I currently attend Braddock leading up to my senior year and I am in the Information Technology program and it's an excellent program. New programs such as iPrep and the Arts Academy are starting to rise and the school is initially good. There's kids of all types of groups, ethnics, etc. It's a very big and diverse school where you're constantly always learning.
I really love my old high school, i was a former student there for my freshman and sophomore years and it was great! But the one thing that school needs is autism support! I am high functioning autistic and that didn't support me as much as Ferguson did!
Cambridge is SUPERB! The teachers are the best, no doubt about it. Mr. Server has to be my favorite! GREAT PROGRAM! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
i go to Braddock, I'm a senior and i go to night school also and some of the teacher from night school aren't from Braddock their from sunset and many other schools even middle school and Braddock has given me many good values and now i am going into studying the culinary arts and if you want to have the best high school experience Braddock is where you want to be.

If you want to have 'Fun', go to Braddock, but if you care about academics, please choose another high school less crowded and wih better education. Not all teachers treat students with respect and don't care about their different ways of learning. I'm glad my son is out of that horrible school!

This is one of the only schools that makes you feel like going to school! All Ferguson does is take away a kids childhood by filling it up with work that should be saved for college. Braddock is filled with too much of everything, which is exactly what your going to find in the real world. They make us pay for our mistakes and they dont treat us like were children, but, unlike Ferguson, they know that were not 30! Everyone who actually attends Braddock leaves with a smile on their face and if you think that your child doesnt deserve fun during their last years of being a kid, then send them to Ferguson. But if you want your child to wake up saying 'I cant wait to go to school today!' and still recieving one of the best educations in Miami-Dade County, then Braddock is the school for you.

I attend John a. Ferguson Senior high, and not it's not a school rivalry thing; but I have also attended night school at Braddock and I have to say it is one of the worse schools I have attended. The staff is horrible! They never listen to the students! At Ferguson the administration gives us a taste of 'the real world'. They don't talk down to us, nor do they treat us like we are still in middle school. I am a Junior at Ferguson with many friends from different schools. Most of my friends are dying to get into Ferguson. Ferguson offers many prgrams and has academies in which you can learn about your carrer choice. Ferguson helps you focus on your future, gives you a heads up on your carrer path by placing you in specific classes and overall pushes you to exceed your limits in education. Braddock doesnt

This school is absolutely the best! I graduated in 2007 and went to G. Holmes Braddock all four years. I actually enjoyed going to school and learning! Braddock provides top notch teachers and an excellent environment. The best teachers surely have to the be the ceramic's teacher, Ms. Lockwood, and the physics teacher, Ms. Pentzke, along with many other A+ teachers. They surely do care about their students and push hard for them to succeed in EVERYTHING that comes their way! BULLDOGS FOR LIFE!
I love braddock. its a great school for students to learn and to have a great education for there high school years. everything is great about the school.

This is a school with lots of opportunities for the kids to get a great education. It has lots of extracurricular activities, clubs, and the athletic department is great! it gives something to do after school aside from homework. It keeps the kids busy and motivated. I just wish I would see more parent involvement. PTSA, Buster Clubs, etc...

My son attended Braddock Senior, his curriculum consisted of mostly 'special ed' classes. In 2003, he passed his FCAT and graduated with a regular diploma. Obviously, Braddock works! I now have a daughter attending this school. She is good student, no disabilities and defends her school with a passion. My big concern: security! Had a scary incident just today. Apparently she was 'alone' reading when 4 male students, apparently bored, decided to get her attention by calling out foul language remarks, throwing things at her and finally hitting her with a door. She got away, luckily! What could've happened? Braddock is a 'huge' high school and academically I feel the staff really works with their students but security is scarce. They should focus less on whether the dress code is being adhered to and pay more attention to the safety of students during free times (like lunch).

This senior high is one of the largest in Dade County. The teacher to student ratio is very high so sometimes my child felt a little isolated, but when she started taking honors and AP classes, she learned a great deal and felt my treasured.

Best Chemistry, Physics, and Calculus teachers there. Their names are Dr. Phyllis Hoar, Odalys Reyes, and Teresita Lemus. Odalys Reyes and Tersita Lemus have been awarded for having the most hispanic students pass the AP Physics and Calculus tests.

Braddock Sr. high has so many possibilities. They offer everything form ESE to AP classes. Talk to the CAP advisor if you are interested in scholarships or other college opportunities. Many clubs to choose from! Clubs and sports keep kids interested in school...very important! The school is beautiful too as different classes (juniors, seniors) take on beatification projects each year for community service. Parents can view their kid's grades online too! Want to see if Jr. did his homework? Look online! A great school.

G. Holmes Braddock is one of the greatest public schools out there. Although large, its programs and excellent teachers balance the overcrowded school.

A great school with multi-cultured students, experienced teachers, and a principal that knows what he's doing.
