for all the people knocking this school please shut up , i turned out fine, and well educated, yea they can be sturn at times . mulberry middle gets two thumbs up
I do not recommend this school as a student of MMS they worry more about wearing a belt or shirts being tucked in. when subs come in class rooms they don't care what we do. same with certin teachers
do not send your child to this school if you can help it. as a parent, i've had nothing but problems and issues out of this school. the teachers do not communicate with the parents at all. the principal & discipline staff leave a lot to be desired to say the least. it seems they are more concerned with wether or not a student has their shirt tucked in and wearing a belt rather than if the kid knows how to read or not. they will hound parents with the most petty things, but will not let the parents know that their child is having a hard time learning or how well the child is doing. no communication at all from the teachers. if you can find a different school to put your child in, that would be the best interest for both the parents and the student.
I would not recomend this school. The teachers dont care about the students as long as they get there pay check and they hav literaly told us that.
We have an awesome school with excellent teachers!
I have nothing but issues with this school. They are not parent friendly. If there was an issue with my son I would find out way after the fact. I have not ever delt with a teacher like his that does not care about her students suceeding. All I hear are excuses. I wish that I had the way to put him in private school........
This was my daughters 1st year @ MMS. I did not have a good experience. I always had to wait a long time when I checked my daughter out of school. I did not like the fact that they were trying to make everyone carry those cheap book bags that were not large enough to hold more than 1 book. I would rather my daughter go back to school in Lakeland.
This is my second year at MMS. I have had an awesome time there. The staff is wonderful. You will meet so many new people. They have an awesome sytem working there. As a student that still attends MMS I think that I wouldn't want to go to any other school. I have made so many great friends. The teachers are nice (sometimes) but a teacher is there to teach.
This is my 2nd year at Mulberry Middle and I love it! Its like the greatest school ever!
I have had nothing but positive experiences with Mulberry Middle so far. My son is in his second year there, and he loves it. He has the 'normal' problem all of us had, and all students will have as far as 'the teacher is too strict' or 'the teacher yells too much'. But that's kid stuff. He is an honor roll student and although some of that is HIM applying himself, I also feel that without positive encouragement from the teaching staff, that might not be the case. So overall, I am satisfied. Oh, and the principal really does have a 'no tolerance' way to deal with disruptive, potentially dangerous, bullying children.
