This school is more like a prison! You can not even get a tour! My child was miserable here. We were relocated for work and my child started at an odd time. He/she was the new kid and bullied daily and the teacher did nothing. The front office staff is very rude and unwelcoming. The teachers are young, fresh out of college, inexperienced, and unskilled. Most of them do not have children of their own. They are not educating your child. They are babysitting. The P.E. teacher is lazy. He tells the kids to go play and doesn't do anything. Go check the school out for yourself, if you walk by at any given time, you will hear staff yelling at students like prison guards.

Unprofessional administrator/principal for an elementary school. Lacks compassion for children and parents. Stay involved and speak up if you have children here. Do not be intimidated by them!

August 12, 2014
The administrators under the leadership of the principal is horrible. They completely disregarded the welfare of my child by kicking him out because we moved during the school year and we weren't even given a chance to apply for School Choice for my child to remain until he finishes the school year at Trinity. She called me in the morning after March break to inform me that my child cannot attend classes effective IMMEDIATELY. How can you do that? I would NOT recommend this school!

I have worked at several different schools, and Trinity stands out as being the BEST school I have worked at. The teachers here really care about each student and put 100% effort into everything they do. The teaching methods are all research-based and progressive. Class sizes are small and the campus has a private-school feel. If you are seeking a school with high academic standards, this is the school for you. Of note: this school is known for its high test scores and gifted programs. If you have a child with special learning needs, the school will do its best to accommodate, but the reality is that the school has neither the staff nor the programs to support children who need anything more than a little extra tutoring. I have seen many angry parents (including those here on "school choice"!) who expect special services and are disappointed. This is a high-performing, academically demanding school. It can be difficult to get accommodations such as phys/occ therapy, behavioral specialists, FCAT exemptions, etc. If you do not live in the area but choose to send your child here, please take the time to understand the school's mission and make sure it's a good fit.

Is there an option for ZERO stars? Worst, most hostile, uncaring, unfriendly administration ever! How do people like this even get into a career involving the welfare of children? I would not send my child here nor would I recommend it to anyone.

The staff and principal here doesn't care about students welfare at all. Very unfriendly. I do not recommend this school if you are thinking about renting at trinity club apartments. You will have to endure the staff and administrators. What a horrible shame.

I went to enroll my daughter here and I have to agree- the principal is not friendly at all! I should have guessed that she was going to be less than friendly by the fact that she never returned my calls when I was attempting to have some things answered. She was so unfriendly that I decided not to enroll her in this school, that's how bad it is.

The school is ok. If your child struggles in any subject or might have a sld they are not very helpful. They have silent lunchtime! :( The principal is not very friendly. The music teacher is mean to the kids. I'm switching my children next school year to a different school.

I LOVE working here!! It's been 9 years and I'm going to miss Ms. Rushe terribly when she retires in January. I would also like to add that after reading many of the reviews, I found it interesting that the two negative comments about the administration should learn that Principal has the word 'pal' at the end. I learned that from an equally great public school many years ago! KUDOS TES, keep it up!

We entered TES in January...nervous, anxious, terrified! Well, it took about 2 minutes for all those fears to be put to rest! What a phenomenal staff at this school. We were immediately made to feel like we'd been there for years. I love a school that has such an open door and welcomes parents to be as involved as they can. Mrs. Rushe, the principal, is one of the best I've seen. Her committment to the children, school, and staff is inspirational! You really get a sense of community at TES and my children bound out of bed every morning to get there. The multi-age classrooms seem to be very successful...I think reaching a broader spectrum of abilities...if you are ahead great...if you are a little behind...great. I think it is a dynamic way of reaching more children and catering to their individual needs. Our teachers are the best!

We moved to Trinity because of the school! Our oldest started 1st grade at TES and in fall 2009 he will enter 5th grade and our middle child will enter K. The children are always challenged, the multi-age classroom is wonderful, but a huge balancing act for the teachers...hence only the best are hired and only the very best stay! I find the Administration and most especially the principal to be on top of everything, from student test scores, clubs, school maintenance and even doing lunchroom duty! The administration spends a large part of the school day out in the classrooms interacting with the students and teachers; hence I see their cars in the parking lot late in the day still in their offices catching up on all that 'Admin' paperwork. If you are looking for a school that takes the job of educating children very seriously, TES is it!

I have just read the comments regarding Trinity Elementary and have to agree that the Priniciple is very very uncooperative, very set in her ways and not at all willing to work with the parents or her staff. I feel bad for all that work there, for after speaking with the teachers over the last 4 years that my children have attended this school, their incapabilites are actually the result of the principle being so unwilling to listen to their ideas. My advice use Pasco's school choice find a school with a principle that cares and takes your and the teacher's ideas into consideration.

Trinity Elementary is a spectacular school! The teachers work well together. The children are engaged during every moment of the day. And, the administration is supportive and caring in all situations. Despite what some of the parent reviews have stated. I encourage all parents to spend whatever time they may have getting to know the staff and administration at Trinity. They truly are a special group of people!

Overall I feel the school provides a good education. I compared the material my son was doing in 5th grade to a local private Christian school and he had already learned their 6th grade math. The private school uses the A-Beka program. I am however disappointed in the fact that the administration is very unfriendly and that includes the principle. The assistant principle is very friendly. The school is very well kept and the classrooms very nice. It takes some getting used to the grading system if you are used to having grades shown as percentages. At this school everything is check marks. Checks, check +, or check -.

I have been pleased with the teacher focus, skills and attention in the classroom, but would like to see more skilled time spent on activities other than coloring. My son will be going into 1st grade this year, and it seemed that he was not fully challenged enough in Kindergarden. I hope to see a change in 1st grade. The principle of the school is VERY unapproachable and unsocial. She walks the school like a militant and does not go out of her way to say hello or converse with parents. I as a parent never felt very welcome on school grounds. I had lunch with my son every week at the school and the principle never once introduced herself or conversed with me. The assistant principle is friendly. There needs to be more extracurricular activities as well.

Prior to moving into the area we heard wonderful things about Trinity Elementary. We soon learned few were true. I would have to rate it as the biggest educational dissapointment in my childs school career. I agree with some of the other reviews that the administration is not very approachable. We also found the now former Asst. Principal to be extremely negative. I'm happy to see that she has left the school for the sake of the students. Our child will thankfully be attending another school this year.

Emphasis on reading. Makes kids excited about reading. The few teachers I know are wonderful. The principal is not very approachable. Not very happy w/all the policies and the way they are enforced. Acedemic wise you have to go above and beyond to get 'E's' or A's. They do not celebrate the little things which I think is big plus especially w/the small children.

This is my child's third year at Trinity Elementary. The first year I was pretty happy with her education and the teacher she had. She has since been placed in a classroom with a teacher who is new at teaching and I have not been happy with the results of that. Trinity Elementary ignores when children are misbehaving at the expense of the children who are behaving. They do not correct when it is needed nor do they reward when it is needed. Also, when bringing any concerns to the principal, they are quickly dismissed and her uncaring nature is revealed quickly. We are currently looking to remove our child and admit her into an overall better school.

Trinity Elementary teaches in multi-age settings. It works really well in the primary grades where they combine k/1 and 1/2 grades. The school has tons of community involvement and the children are spoiled with lots of modern technology and other great anemities our commuity is able to afford through fundraisers. I'd say 95% of the teachers are excellent. They are well versed in their areas and have exceptional personalities to make their classrooms enjoyable and educational.

Schools education from Kindergarden to 3rd grade is the worst! Students are mixed and the education level achieved is far worse than other county schools. If you are looking for a good education and not just a 5 star for parent participation - which is needed due to the inexperienced and overcrowded classrooms and teachers, think twice. Make sure you understand what school ratings really mean. We made the mistake of thinking the education is what was being measured, not attendance or parent participation!

A wonderful school especially for families with multiple children. Life is simpler when your kindergartener is going on the same field trip as your second grader. Dinner table conversations are exciting when each has a different perspective on similar activities. The teachers here are fantastic, the principal a true leader. Even the school hours are great! I can't say enough good about this school.
