Citrus Elementary School

Our new Principal and Assistant Principal are amazing. Our schools cleaner, more organized, and the overall attitude in general is better than I've seen in 5 years. I look forward to the next 3.

the only problem is that since miss brown left the school it hasn't been the same. my son has adhd and a lot of teachers don't want to deal with extra help for the kids and that is sad to hear. we need more resources to help them suceed in life and school.

Wonderful school.. My 5 Children go there.. and Teachers make sure they get their education in advanced level.. and motivated to do well for their future..

I really enjoyed Citru Elementary School! The building was nice, the principal was exelent and over all, a great school! Highly Recomend!

I think this elementary school is wonderful! Great teachers, great leadership. I think the other reviews might have been written by a disgruntled ex employee. My son has been at Citrus since it's first year , he's attended grades 2-5 and is now graduating to Middle School. At another school, where he attended first grade, he was falling way behind, we were very concerned. He is now in gifted programs and scores some of the highest scores for the FCAT's and we are so happy! We are very, very fortunate to have such a premier learning facility in our town! Also, the principal is great! She listens and is genuinely involved in each child's life. I don't know how she does it!, she know's our son by name, incredible! I have always been somewhat concerned about the location because of all the comercial out-parcels there and traffic.

Citrus Elementary school is an awesome place to be. From the truly caring and supportive teachers to the most involved and dedicated principal I have ever known, Citrus provides a nurturing and sound educational environment for it's students. As a former student of private schools and college and administrator of a private school, I was never a fan of public education. Once I moved my daughter to Citrus I found out how much I had been missing. Citrus is a wonderful school and I cannot say enough great things about it . I would recommend Citrus without reservation!
